The View was at its best when Meredith was the moderator. They need someone like her. I liked the mix of Meredith, Star, Lisa and Joy. Rosie was different, but it was OK. Even Elizabeth was tolerable at first. I haven't watched much with Whoopi at the helm and I refused to watch once Jenny joined. I am an ardent Jenny-hater. Giving her that platform was a huge mistake. I think Sherri is a funny actress. I just don't like her much on the panel.

Now that they are both gone, I might, MIGHT, watch again, depending on who they bring on.

I have never watched a single episode of The View. I like to think I saved myself from losing 30 IQ points, just for that.

I was home on maternity leave when the show debuted. It was a very different show in the beginning.

It's always been a shit show to me. Every last one of them was a windbag, whose opinion on anything, I could give two shits about. I did love Joy though, she made me laugh.

Haven't watched it since Rosie left. And Hasselbeck annoyed the crap out of me.Would like to see Whoopie Rosie and Joy on it though.

Rosie O'Donnell has made her deal with "The View" ... sources connected with the negotiations tell TMZ.

We're told the show will make the announcement shortly.

TMZ broke the story ... the negotiations fired up a few days ago and the deal was almost completed by end of business day Monday.

The deal is now complete. Rosie will join Whoopi Goldberg on the show. As we reported, producers are also looking for a Latina and a conservative. Two conservative candidates who are being scoped are Abby Huntsman and Margaret Hoover.

'View' fans remember ... Rosie always made things interesting.

Interesting. Maybe with Hasselbeck gone, Rosie will be able to keep her cool.

I might watch it since Rosie is back. She's obnoxious sometimes, but i think her and whoopi together might be good.

There are very few people who I truly loathe with every fiber of my being. Rosie O is one of them.

Default Rosie’s deal bans reality stars as ‘View’ co-hosts

Rosie O’Donnell has been offered a “one-year, seven-figure deal” to rejoin “The View,” sources said — and she’s demanding a say on her co-hosts and absolutely no reality stars. Just days after we reported that ABC was reaching out to her, insiders tell us the deal is not confirmed but is “absolutely in progress.”

We hear terms of her deal would include her appearing full-time on the show alongside Whoopi Goldberg, and O’Donnell will also get “approval over offers to other co-hosts.”

But according to a source, Rosie wants a stipulation that no other reality stars can be slotted as co-hosts, (so Bethenny Frankel’s agent should stop pitching). The deal would bring O’Donnell back after a rocky exit in 2007 after just one season.

During her tenure, the strong-willed co-host feuded with Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who is now a Fox News host. Show co-creator Barbara Walters, who stepped down in May, welcomed O’Donnell back to the program for a guest appearance in February.

Last month, “The View” let go of co-hosts Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy.
