I don't think its surgery, it looks more like a stroke. There have been rumors she was ill.

Plus when you consider that she's 78 and still knocking some of the younger ones (*cough* Madonna *cough*) out of the park...

She's been suffering from kidney disease and dealing with a transplant. That can change someone, especially at her age. Though she has done too much to her nose.

So yeah, what's Madonna's excuse other than karma and bad procedures?

That would cover it, but if you add in extreme narcissism, (even by Hollywood standards) and surrounding herself with sycophantic assistants, etc., it's a recipe for the disaster she now finds herself in, though she would no doubt disagree with that assessment.

Part of the problem is that she's been reinventing herself for so long, she's a bit lost. Her 'thing' was to push the envelope, to be on the edge, raw, sexual, and free. When she does that now, she just looks sad and pathetic.

    Happy birthday, Tina!

Tina Turner is 'happy to be an 80-year-old woman' as she celebrates milestone birthday... after overcoming a stroke, cancer and kidney disease

Tina Turner took to Twitter on Tuesday to wish herself a happy 80th birthday.
The Private Dancer singer was feeling very grateful to be in such great health on her milestone birthday after weathering a stroke, intestinal cancer and kidney disease in recent years.
'Yes, I'm 80,' Turner began. 'How did I think I would be at 80? Not like this. How is this? Well, I look great, I feel good, I've gone through some very serious sicknesses that I'm overcoming. So it's like having a second chance at life. I'm happy to be an 80-year-old woman.'

A survivor: The Private Dancer singer was feeling very grateful to be in such great health on her milestone birthday after weathering a stroke, intestinal cancer and kidney disease in recent years

Turner suffered a stroke in 2013, and was diagnosed with intestinal cancer in 2016, the songbird shared in her memoir My Love Story.

    She then developed kidney disease.
Tina underwent successful operations in 2016 and 2017 to remove a cancerous section of her colon and to receive a kidney transplant. The kidney was donated by her husband Erwin Bach.

The point: She added, 'So it's like having a second chance at life. I'm happy to be an 80-year-old woman'

'I know that my medical adventure is far from over,' Turner wrote in her book. 'But I'm still here — we're still here, closer than we ever imagined. I can look back and understand why my karma was the way it was. Good came out of bad. Joy came out of pain. And I have never been so completely happy as I am today.'

There was also a video where some of her famous friends wished her well.

Also on the clip were Pete Townshend and the Broadway cast of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.

What a great talent she is. I've loved her since I first saw her on tv back in the early 70s. Tina can do no wrong in my book. "What's Love Got to Do With It?" is one of the best movies ever made.
