    It really bothers me when talented actresses and singers are laid low by chronic, debilitating diseases. I'm thinking of Linda Ronstadt, Teri Garr, Annette Funicello, Kathleen Turner and now Selma Blair who have all struggled. Other than Michael J. Fox, men don't seem to have the same issues. Meanwhile, assholes like James Woods and Chris Brown just go their merry way. It doesn't seem fair.

    CNN has a Linda Ronstadt bio on tonight which I'm recording. I didn't watch the Kennedy Center Honors, but thought it was so sad that she couldn't sing.
