My kids loves her and the show is watchable unlike the Barney I had to sit through a long time ago.

Let me guess, they were all middle aged, highly uncoordinated, badly dressed and looked like they were going to pee their ill-fitting wrangler jeans and orgasm at the same time when he sang achey-breaky heart?

I just spent $60 on Hanah Montana yesterday(best freind's 3 year old daughter's birthday). She's CRAZY for Hanah. My friend is glad her daughter isn't 'concert' age yet as Hanah will be in concert here in November.

I don't know what it is with those silly Nick, and Disney shows. The only ones I can sit through are Drake and Josh, and Raven.

ok then. let's share. let's see, there's the cost of the venue for the night. the musicians. the crew. the venue staff. management. the promotor's %, her fee. her hotel costs. her crew's hotel costs. her airfare. her crew's airfare. her per diem. her crew's per diem. her staff's per diem.....the list is endless.
yes let's definitely split those costs instead of bulk tickets on ebay.

That sounds about right, my mother included.

My sister loves Hannah Montana... I've always found her kind of obnoxious, personally. I liked the old school Nick shows like Alex Mack, Pete and Pete, Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Wild and Crazy Kids, Legends of the Hidden Temple, and Clarissa Explains It All.
Hannah Montana did a concert at the Houston rodeo last season and was the first one of the season to sell out. I think she also set a new record for attendance. It's because for every Hannah Montana fan, they are guaranteed to sell TWO tickets (one for the fan and one for their parent or chaperone). It's unfortunate that they are so expensive though and that scalpers are taking advantage of this.

Nick has gone to the dogs and I will not watch anything on Disney. I refuse.
What happened to the good shows? Are you Afraid of the Dark, the Tomorrow People..
*sigh* Now we have Hannah Montana. Thank God for SciFi and Discovery Channel.

I would have to be invited by George Clooney with the promise of marriage, including a prenup that is generous to me possibly promising me Brad Pitt in case of divorce, at some point during the show to ever, EVER be willing to attend any concert by this annoying child or her father.

I don't understand the animosity towards this girl. She isn't out boozing and drugging, you don't see her in inappropriate clothing, or hanging out in nightclubs. She can actually sing, and her parents seem determined to keep her sheltered from all the people and events that chewed up and spit out Britney, Lohan, etc. Sure the show isn't that great, but it isn't aimed at an adult's emotional or intellectual levels, it is aimed at young preteen girls. There are certainly worse role models out there.
