But who is she trying to save? Isn't this article in a Christian mag? Who would pick this up and read it besides Christians?
I just think sometimes celebs need to shut their traps.
I have always found her obnoxious.

I liked her on that Brooke Shields show Suddenly Susan -- she was on-the-ball and smart. I really was surprised when I found out what a half-wit she is.

If you believe Jesus was the son of God and came to take all our sins then you are a Christian. You do not have to believe he is your personal savior. I find this so ridiculous. "We are better than all the other Christians, God loves us more" to be sung in a sing song voice.

I guess the bigger question should be "Who would sleep with her?" or "Who would raw dog with that beast"?

You clearly don't know what your talking about.
Many people view Christianity as attending church, performing rituals, not committing certain sins. That is not Christianity. True Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Accepting Jesus as your personal Savior means placing your own personal faith and trust in Him. No one is saved by the faith of others. No one is forgiven by doing certain deeds. The only way to be saved is to personally accept Jesus as your Savior, trusting His death as the payment for your sins, and His resurrection as your guarantee of eternal life (John 3:16)

Sorry Sweetie but that is your personal belief. Not every church agrees with you. My sister works for a catholic school and while writing their mission statement they were "attacked" by a group of born agains who told them catholics are not Christians because they had not been saved. Gotta love it. Some people decide they are Christians but others can't be because they don't have the same belief system. I personally think they are all pissing God off by claiming him as their own.

I'm going to leave the Christian v. Catholic debate to you all. However my mother was raised catholic and went to c. schools and now she is a Christian and there are remarkable differences when you've see it from both sides of the fence.
Sherri addressed this issue yesterday on The View. She said she spoke out about it to take some of the shame away from it. It made a lot more sense after hearing the actual story instead of reading it in print.

Jesus Harold Christ. Catholics ARE Christians. Why do I see this confusion come up over and over again?

Because "Christians" do not accept Catholics or some other religions as fellow Christians because they don't drink the same Koolaid.

1) How do you have a personal relationship with a dead guy. Does he haunt you and talk to you in your head?
2) The Catholic church is the foundation every other Jebus church sprang from. Suddenly they aren't Christians? I bet Jesus wasn't a Jew either.
What a stupid conversation. Fuck I hate religion. "My religion is better than yours, mine is right and yours is wrong, you arent a christian unless you believe what i do!"
Infantile, tribalist, raindance, chickenbone throwing, dogmatic, supersticious nonsense. No better or different than some shaman in Africa stomping around, shaking rattles or divining the future from animal guts.

But in a way there should be shame involved with having "more abortions then you'd like to count". Making a mistake once is one thing, but using abortion as a form of birth control is just wrong. How hard is it to use a condom or get on the pill?
I also think it's absolutely hypocritical that she's talking about others needing to be "saved," when clearly she's far from perfect herself

Oh bitch didn't want to work through all the bad feelings from being a whore (or felt she shouldn't have to) so she turned to her magic sky fairy which did it for her.
Poof. You're forgiven. Now she can feel good about herself because she's delusional. It's easier than actually dealing with shit.
