Seriously? People believe this? She hired her didn't she? If she was so racist against her accent then why in the hell did she hire her? Did she do the job interview in sign language? Total BS. I bet a lot of these people are going to start coming out and trying to pitch their story to a rag. They will probably make a chunk of change in the interview. Curious though, I wonder if they sue their employer for discrimination if it renders their non disclosure contracts void? Perhaps this is the new way of being able to sell gossip. Sue first, then talk.

I mean, I've heard this troll thing bandied about since you busted up in these parts, so just wondering if you're a PR or in with one of them somehow. (Or are one??? You wouldn't be the first to come here and lurk/post. I know we've got tons of lurkers of this variety because of the stuff that's said nowhere else but here turning up other places after). I'd rather just ask straight away.

Hey thanks for asking. No I'm not a PR Troll or any other sort of troll. I've just notice that many times people accept the headline as gospel and start chiming in. It makes no sense to me. Like I said, she "hired her" so WTF is this all about. If she hated her accent why in the hell would she hire her as a nanny. It does make me wonder though if this is some new way for celebrity employees to worm out of their confidentiality clauses. They can sell their stories if they "sue" and it's part of the law suit. Seems lately more and more gossip is coming on the backs of law suits rather than flat out gossip.

I wonder how much she was paid for her story.

I've been married for 12 years and with my hubby for 19 years. He is Filipino. I don't have an accent, and neither does my son. I do however know all the bad words in Tagalog and make some mean chicken adobo.

I get a bitchy vibe from Sharon Stone anyway so I can believe that she would treat her staff like shit.

I'm afraid I don't remember specifics because it was a long time ago and I wasn't interested in celeb gossip/humor back then, but when Sharon was married to that SF newspaper guy and lived up here, there was plenty of scuttlebutt about how bitchy and crazy she was. Mrs. Dark's right, this sort of word of mouth has always followed Sharon around, so there's probably something to it.

That said, she doesn't necessarily have to be an actual racist. Speaking in terms of class relations, master-servant shit and all that, she could simply be a high-maintenance Hollywood bitch queen with major narcissistic and histrionic traits, who makes a hobby out of verbally abusing her social inferiors. (Especially when she's not "medicated" in one way or another....or when she is.

what i remember is that once she rode in 1st class and the kids and the nanny were in coach. not the hairiest deal . . ..

It's very telling she's not friends with most of the people she's worked with. I think she's a crazy bitch. I feel sorry for her kids. I just think this has nothing to do with "racism. In fact the real deal is a dispute over "over time" and her refusal to pay. So just trot out the race card to get her to fork over the cash.
