How many silverscreen actors overdosed or comitted suicide? We'll never know, because they did the classy thing and did it in private, sometimes.
I love the classy way blacks were treated in films. They got to work on classy mansion sets, acting as maids for the classy rich owners.
Remember the classy way actors were forced to stay in the closet? I fear we're losing some of the classiness of staying closeted.
At least actors are still encouraged to take diet pills and starve themselves. We'll never lose that type of class.
Thet era may have had better clothes and more underwear, but I don't know if that equates to more class. Maybe just more style.

I completely agree.

She sounds a bit nutty but in a good way. I love Old Hollywood too. The movies, not everything behind the scenes.
For what it's worth, I don't think that Scarlet slapping the slave girl had to do with the girl being a slave, she was panicking out the time. It would be my first impulse to slap someone in such a situation regardless of colour or social status.

She comes from such class. Let's see, Demi is basically white trash who made it and tries to cover her stink and Bruce Willis who wouldn't know class if he stepped on it. Pretentious little twat.

That had to have been ghostwritten by one of the staff or a family lackey. No way any of the Moore-Willis children have even half a brain.

Recently I began playing game when eating dinner with my family. Each night I dress as a different silver screen star from a certain film and they have to guess who I am and what film I am from. The first night I dressed as one of my most favorite movie stars of all time, Marlene Dietrich, as she appeared in the classic film Morocco. This included tuxedo dress pants, white shirt, tail coat and a top hat to boot.
|
Uhhh... ok. If I was still playing dress up like this at 17 and expecting my family to go along with it, I think they would have had me evaluated.
I don't think this little dress up game is as cute or intelligent as she believes that it is. More like pretentious, weird, and attention whorish.
Oh, and I would love to see the look on Ashton's face when she pulls this shit. I would imagine it's a "whaaaat the fuck?" smirk followed by a look of profound confusion/disturbance as she explains her classy and incredibly intellectually stimulating transformation while he lights up another joint.

Truly beautiful!

I'd be tempted to call this reconstructive surgery and not just vain p.s. It's amazing what a different jawline would do for her looks. I've never noticed what great eyes she has because that jaw overpowers everything.

She's young, and through watching old movies she paints an image in her mind of a clear cut and dry world that didn't exist, but that's only because she's young and naive. As for the way she comes across and her writing style, that's probably because she went to the best schools money could buy, and that's pretty much the way they teach you to write and speak.
Frankly, I'm amazed that she's not more screwed up, considering who her parents are. And at least she's keeping her clothes on instead of off. Sadly, that's a refreshing idea among young Hollywood.

She's eccentric and nutty, but I like it. I wouldn't mind eating at a dinner table with a chick like this, it would be amusing. There are a lot worse things she could be doing at seventeen besides talking about bringing old school Hollywood glamour back and playing dress-up. I kind of like kids like this, that are a bit more out there and like doing wacky things, I like when people are creative, even if it is a tad pretentious.

That's exactly what I thought. No way she wrote it. I'm sorry but I don't have one positive thing to say about any of the Willis spawn. I find them incredibly annoying.
