Dustin Diamond is officially an inmate ... turning himself into a Wisconsin jail Friday night.
Diamond reported to the Ozaukee County Jail to serve out a 4 month sentence. You'll remember, Diamond was convicted back in May for stabbing a man in a bar on Xmas of 2014. Lucky for Dustin, the judge only hit him with 2 misdemeanors and dropped the far more serious felonies.
Not so good news ... Dustin checked in after dinner time at the jail. We're told Friday's menu was country fried steak, gravy, rice, salad and a piece of cake.
No telling if the sentence will be one too.

CNN)Actor Dustin Diamond, best known for playing the role of Screech on the 1990s high school comedy "Saved by the Bell," has been arrested in Ozaukee, Wisconsin on a probation hold, according to the Ozaukee County Jail.
Diamond was sentenced to four months in jail for stabbing a man during a Christmas Day 2014 altercation at a bar in Wisconsin. He served three months of the sentence.
A probation hold occurs when the offender's probation agent believes he or she has not complied with the terms of their probation. People on probation hold are generally held in county facilities while the agent completes a violation investigation.
If the incident that led to the violation investigation is serious enough, the offender -- in this case Diamond -- could have their parole revoked.
No new charges have been filed against Diamond, and no other information is available at this time, according to the jail.

Dustin Diamond, from "Saved by the Bell," violated his probation by failing a drug test ... TMZ has learned.
According to docs ... Screech's urine tested positive for oxy during a test administered last month. Diamond told his parole officer he'd recently taken "a painkiller" for a toothache -- but he also admitted to not knowing what kind it was ... because it was an old prescription.
That's his story, he stuck to it ... and that's why he got thrown in jail for the violation. Diamond was released after 2 days behind bars.
He told cops he's "cleaned out" his medicine cabinet.
