aesthetically, that is quite a pleasing poster, I must say.
Otherwise, hate sjp!

I call BS too.
It's not like she's in charge of marketing or advertising for the movie.
The "get Carried away" is totally cheesy...I just don't see her being behind that.
True or not, I am soooooo fed up with the whole Sex and the city crap, it's so overrated, it's unreal![]()
well if it true is kinda makes the whole Kim Cattrall 'I want the same as she's making" demand. And lets face it she deserves it because as how much i love SATC it was Samantha's character that did it for me and not the self indulgent tripe that came out of Carrie's mouth
Not exactly true. For a star as big as SJP, I promise its in her contract that she has approval over all marketing images of her. And I bet its also stipulated that her likeness has to appear to a certain degree in all promo materials. Its pretty depressing, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if her contract specified that she had to be featured as the 'star' of the project.
I know! Kim and SJP really were the standout characters in this series to me. The other two were amazing but Kim and SJP were the best. She does deserve to make equal to SJP.
You know, the more I remember about how pissy she got that Kim Cattrall stalled the whole movie project by "having the nerve" to ask for more money (), and how those two infamously hated each other for the last several seasons---the more I'm inclined to believe that SJP can be just as nasty and conniving as any other ego-tripping starlet.
Kim Cattrall deserved the money and acclaim she got. She did a wonderful job with the great storylines writers gave her, and viewers were just plain more interested in her character at many points in the series. And it feels like SJP really resented someone else getting the spotlight when she was supposed to be the star. I wouldn't necessarily put her above staging these kinds of bitchy power plays.
My personal favorite was Charlotte, by a landslide, but I think it makes sense to feature SJP in the ads. Carrie Bradshaw, IMO, was undeniably the main character of that show. The other three were still important, but to me there was only one "star" of the show and that was Carrie. Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte were her sidekicks.
