Oh please - show me where Sandra had any standing in telling a judge to give her a harsher sentence for tax evasion. Tax evasion is often reported as a result of divorce since one party gets angry when another tries to hide income so they can get a larger settlement. It doesn't matter who reported it either. The fact remains that she did not pay taxes and in fact evading paying them. To get a prison sentence for tax evasion is not easy. You have to have hidden a lot and it has to be proven that it was with intent to evade.

The court can't decide on just Jesse and Janne either. They must evaluate the entire home which means everyone else living in the home. I have seen people lose custody because an older child in the home has a serious addiction problem that was seen as being unfit for the younger child.

Exactly. And while Jesse married "America's Sweetheart," what did Janine do? Married some felon she met in the halfway house. If she truly wants to regain custody, why did she shoot herself in the foot like that? She already had enough strikes against her.

The way I see it, she created this entire situation, and now instead of trying to get her act together for her daughter's sake, she's whining that Sandra is trying to "steal" her child.

2 Janine Lindemulder kept her marriage to Jeremy Aikman a secret from both the court & her ex-husband.

3 Janine's "friend" states that Jesse only saw Sunny for the first 30 mins on her birthday in the first 2 yrs of her life "it was only after he got involved with Sandra Bullock that he decided that he wanted to have a relationship with his daughter".... so, either he left his ex-wife for Sandra or he didn't.... but then why would I believe that he's only seen his daughter for 30 mins if the "friend" can't get other details like dates correct????

I find it kind of ironic in a hypocritical way that posters that evicerated Jenna James think that Lindemulder is hard done to because she's a porn actress, may I add that no-one MADE her do this, she has made many choices that have got her into this mess.
I don't think that Sandra Bullock is a paragon of virtue, however, she's not to blame for the mess that Lindemulder is in.....

I wouldn't say that she should not be awarded custody because she makes porn movies - its not something I would do for a living, but its her choice and its legal. But even if you take the porn out of the equasion there are more than enough compelling reasons to say that this woman is most likely not the best or safest person to have full time custody of a child. She's been to prison, she has a history of drug abuse, she is presently living in a half-way house and is now married to a man convicted of multiple crimes involving drugs, firearms and violence. Not only that, but she also concealed the fact from her ex-husband and the Courts, showing an added degree of untrustworthyness (if it was needed). Janine is, IMHO, not a fit guardian for a child, and I don't give a fuck whether her ex has married Sandra Bullock, Mary Poppins or just some ordinary plain Jane from Nowhereville, it doesn't change the fact that Janine's life is a wreck and she cannot provide a safe and stable environment, whereas Jesse and Sandra can.

BTW, I wonder how long it will be before the new hubby is either back in prison, papped humping another woman or splitting with her and trying to sell his story?

^^ Yeah, and if Jesse (and by extension Sandra) DIDN'T fight her for custody and Janine carried on with her life as it is now (and judging by her recent marriage and current self centered and sniping interviews I think she isn't going to change any time soon) then sooner or later something bad is going to happen, in which case everyone would be flaming Jesse and saying he was a deadbeat who didn't give a shit about his kid or else he would have got custody, or that it was Sandra who prevented him from seeing her or... sheesh!
