I don't have any strong feelings about her one way or the other, but obviously there's something I've missed.

What, is it just backlash because she has this sweet, goody-two-shoes image when in reality (gasp!) she's just as self-centered and has played as dirty as any other Hollywood celeb? (Am I right? Cause I must have missed it too.) It's the same reason I hate Jennifer Garner--vile, selfish undercover skank ho with a Little Miss Sunshine, America's Sweetheart image.

I missed it too. So she is universally despised here? I like her as an actress. She's a good romcom queen like Meg Ryan, but outside of that, meh. She comes off as a bit smug in interviews.
If the mother actually is unfit, she's lucky to have Sandra in her life.

I like her and never thought that the majority here hated her. Like all celebs there are always some who hate them.

I like Sandra okay because I used to live near her and (1) her best friend is an ordinary person, not a celeb, and (2) you NEVER heard anything about her, not one peep. She chose to live a quiet, private life among non-Hollywood people and was never disruptive.
Her acting ... well, that's another story.

Yeah I don't think the majority here hates her. If anything she barely registers because she stays out of the tabloids for the most part. I think she's boring and I'm not a huge rom-com fan so I've never cared.

I don't have a reason to dislike her, but I've never liked her. She never comes off as genuine to me.

I have a friend who did a movie with her and said she was very nice and considerate to all involved, so I've always thought she was ace, though most of her movies aren't to my liking

I love Sandra Bullock and always see her movies- I get good vibes from her. I'd be surprised to learn she wasn't a nice person in real life.
