Awesome - will veggies become some of "Oprah's Favorite Things" now? If you go on the show, will you drive away with broccoli and soy burgers instead of chocolate and washing machines?

I have never eaten a McDonalds Burger. And I have been into McDonalds at least 5,000 times in my life. Coffee, paper, fries sometimes...till I heard what they cooked the fries in.....OMG.

^^ What do they cook the fries in? I know it's gotta be something disgusting, but what exactly?

It used to be pig lard, but Hindus and other people complained who can't eat pork or meat products.

As far as I know, McDonald's still uses a beef flavouring agent on their fries, so Hindus, vegetarians, etc., can't [won't] eat them anyway.

That's disgusting. I agree that people shouldn't eat there anyway, I've gone like twice in my life, before I went vegetarian.

I found this little article from when McDonald's was sued by a vegetarian over the beefy french fries, which I already knew about. I'm not sure if McDonald's ever changed that. I don't think they did. I also found other stuff about them using wheat and dairy in the fries too, after publicly stating that their fries were gluten-free.

I know I'm in the minority here but I like the occasional Big Mac or Quarter Pounder w/Cheese with fries, of course, and I'm glad to say I'm still healthy enough to write this.

Poor Oprah has tried everything and this new vegan thing won't last, either.

I used to love a Quarter Pounder when I was hung over. Then one day I ate one while not hung over and sober. It felt like it had already been chewed and I've never had one since.

By the way, St. Oprah's ratings are down something like 7%...woohooo...the end is nigh.
