No way, her character was way too sweet and sympathetic in Juno. Not enough of a bitch as she seems to be in real life.

Honestly, she seems very much like a love 'em and leave 'em type, she'll only stick by her men when it benefits her or her career. She seems pretty calculating and selfish esp. to have done Scott Foley and Michael Vartan so wrong. As soon as it wasn't working out for her she seemed all too willing to throw them under the bus, and move on seamlessly to the next opportunity (Affleck.)

I recently watched an old episode of the show Dinner for Five and it was from 2002 before Daredevil had come out and it had Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck amongst others. The show is known for being super casual and its premise is basically that you’re a fly on the wall listening to 5 random celebrities eat dinner together. I mention this episode because it was SO obvious that Jen was absolutely enamored with Ben back then. This was before they ever were even dating, let alone married with a child, but you could see that there was something going on there. I hate to admit it, but it was pretty obvious that they were really into each other. Even though they are actors, there are just certain things people can’t fake. They had a connection and she was downright giddy around him, it really surprised me based on how I've seen her in interviews.

Now this doesn’t necessarily mean they are in a happy marriage now, but watching that show reaffirmed me that, at one point at least, they genuinely seemed to like each other a lot. I don’t buy that it was a marriage of guilt or fame for either side. That being said, I wouldn't be surpised if they got a divorce either. They don’t seem to have that “spark” that they used to.

They took Violet out for lunch, later double-dated with the Damons at Nobu, and today is the Afflecks third anniversary. If these are photo ops, if/when they split, it's not going to be very soon - if they're photo-ops, they're designed to at least delay a public split.

Nobu is constantly crawling with paparazzi from what I've read, so I'd say that one is a photo-op.

As for being happy together, maybe they are, but are they as content as the Damons seem to be? Who knows?
