It would be just as true (or not), but it would also be taken more seriously.
And everyone has their opinions--and I even agree with Roseanne somewhat--but broadcasting things like this in the media is just so tacky. Like it's gonna help, BS clearly won't listen and NOBODY likes being told what to do anyway, much less being publicly chastised.
Roseanne just loves attention and stirring up shit.

Ok,i ve never posted that before,so here it is.My niece was a multi drugs abuser, she started at her teens and attended an open programm for 4 years. The hole family had to go,i went too, though i didnt have to.I wanted to know the best way to help her.She is clean 5 years after, studied hard and is currently working at the same programm helping people like her.Her mom and brother are leaders there,at the family support part. Her father,my brother, had to give up drinking,so did the brother. They had to change their life,to help my niece.I ve learned a lot, too, and i understood many things. That is why i cant hate on them.Drugs is fun,but then most of them know what it is doing to them.,they are just past caring. Most of them use drugs to numb the pain inside..

Well I went out and got super drunk this weekend and ended up stranding myself way way outa town! That was totally my mothers fault! LOL Even though she lives in a different city. I blame her!!! For having me...and not keeping me from getting drunk...though I'm almost 29! She needs to take responsibility for me DAMN IT!!!

Brit is a complete mess. She needs more than the help of her family at this point. She obviously is in no position to take care of her kids. I agree that she was pimped out by her family at a young age. Like every child star she has serious mental and drug problems. She definitely needs professional help, hopefully her family can be involved too.

Rosanne Barr is not suited to giving Mothering Lessons to a Ground Hog.
Imagine this: you daughter seems sort of normal, then starts going out of control & forces you away. Said daughter has far more money than you & is an adult, legally at least. What the hell can you do-especially since she accuses you of fooling around with her yukky husband-in public! Please!

Agree! Further, I've always gotten the impression that Britney was the one pimping herself out. Now, at the age she started, yeah her mom should have gotten some kind of control over her, but that option is no longer really viable. Britney always seemed to be the stronger one compared to her mother - even when twitter was a tweener...
My mother was never able to control me. I saw her as weak and was very determined NOT to be like her & that meant pushing her around to do what I wanted. I'm not proud of that, but it did happen. Not until my father died (his behaviour towards her is what made me view her as weak because she allowed him to treat her badly) did I find any respect for that woman. And it took years after his death for me to find the respect and love for my mother that I have now.

I think families can be the best support you can have to help with a drug problem when you are ready to get better. Even the most loving family cannot force the person to the stage of wanting to give up the drugs, if they are still enjoying that lifestyle.

At the risk of sounding contradictory (I know how some people hate that ) I agree with this also.
I do wonder how Roseanne's children are doing. Most of them have got to be pushing 30 and a couple of them over 30.
