Well Penny, you can have that opinion as long as you don't force it down anyone's throat and keep right on cooking your little heart out in your kitchen. Cook, clean and scrub, baby...hands, knees, barefoot and all cuz your man is hungry!

Meanwhile, my sons are making me dinner tonight. ..................and doing the dishes. I might make dessert.
    If I feel like it.

C'mon guys, cut her some slack, it's her own perception of reality.

    She is referring to this:

    Not this:

Rachel Hunter must be laughing her socks off. She thought dressing up for dinner, sashaying down the staircase and living Rod's fantasy was much too boring. Obviously Penny is prepared to put up with it and (pretend to) enjoy it with a lot of help from the staff.

I would think her being a head taller than his little bitty self would be way more emasculating than him grilling up a nice salmon every now and then.

^ Yes, I thought that as well but he married a civilian! I guess that makes her in thrall to the old dinosaur.

I would never 'baby' my man's masculinity. It defeats the purpose.

Also, I can't believe Rod Stewart is still alive. How old is he, by now - 104?

This is where I disagree and am actually serious for once. I'm tall. It doesn't make me masculine, but, boy are a lot of men threatened by it. Their fragile sense of self cannot handle not being "superior". Her being taller isn't emasculating. Only his reaction determines that. Rod not feling secure enough not to be bothered by her height is actually a point in the gnome's favour.

My daughter is 6ft and always bitches about the guys who are taller than her but go after the short girls. She throws me in the mix of short bitches because at 5'2" i have never been with a man under 6ft. I like em tall.

Yeah, even some of the really tall ones get freaked out by a woman daring to come within eight inches of them. (I actually intimidated a guy of 6'7") Tell her she's not missing anything IMO. Those kind of guys have some sort of internal flaw.
