and that's why she married an old dude who likes that it's 1950 in her head.
meh. whatever. if she wants that life, that's her choice. she's not telling other women what to do or advocating for shit that would set women back so i don't really care what she does in her kitchen.

I'd totally live like June Cleaver, but that's where I draw the line.

This morning, after getting home from the gym, I:

    1. Cooked oatmeal for my daughter
    2. Cooked scrambled eggs with ham for my son
    3. Cooked a three-egg-white omelet for Mrs. Mohandas
    4. Made lunch for the kids

Does anybody want to see my moobs?

Maybe I'm just old and/or dumb, but I take pride in my "traditional" role abilities. I don't base my self worth or identity on those abilities, but I personally think they're a really nice bonus. I will say it's a fine line between doing those things because it's a way you show love or because you enjoy them, and having those things determine your value or worth as a partner or woman, but whatever. If that works for them, good for them. For the record though, I'm an equal opportunity critic: I feel a certain amount of wonderment when I come across any adult who cannot handle basic adult skills such as cooking and cleaning and running their household.

And those old pics of him made me want to puke.

Of course you can take pride in your cooking, etc but you also don't think your husband's dick is going to fall off if he sets foot in the kitchen because cavemen are allergic to Teflon and the mere sight of a stove.
She also seems to think women working outside the home are the exception, exotic creatures for her to shake her head at in bemusement. It's actually kinda funny.

I don't think this is true cause Penny still looks quite masculine.
