I've said this before, and I'll say it again - Rob needs help. Not a storyline, but legitimate help.
It's clear that he uses food as a crutch. He needs someone to talk to. He needs someone to help him, encourage him.

His family is MIA. His family has more important things to worry about like coordinating Kim's 3rd wedding. And getting paid. Even though they all can afford to take a couple weeks off to go somewhere with him - not filmed - and just talk/bond.

God forbid something happened to him (health/life), it's sad to say that I 100% think that Kris would use the tragedy to get another season.

Every time I see a picture of him, I just want to give him a hug. If I see him out around SoCal, I would definitely approach him (in a non-psycho way). Sometimes it doesn't take talking about "deep" issues (to start), but just talk to someone, about anything, could make a person feel not so alone. Heck, that's why I'm apart of this forum. To take my mind off life for a moment, and talk about non-sensical stuff.

I know from watching a couple moments of the show, that he feels alone, and it only seems to be getting worse - I would feel alone too if I had a greedy, horrible family like the Kardashians.
