Is Richard Simmons missing?

I love Richard Simmons. He's on my list of people to have dinner (and a few drinks) with.

I wouldn't want to have dinner with him just because it would be too healthy. Now a drink, maybe.

I too have listened to the first 4 episodes and it is interesting. I do feel that the guy doing it is drawing it out too much. This last episode was billed as him going down to meet Richard's older Brother in Louisiana. The whole episode was just more stories of how nice Richard is .... and then at the very end he plays a tape of Richard's Brother slamming the door in his face.
I mean you drew that out and delivered nothing.
Like I said, it is good, but it ain't no Serial. (the original Serial)
so far the most interesting part was what Richard did in his exercise classes. He was pretty crazy and had regulars who had to earn their way up to the front.
Throughout though I am struck how interesing a person Richard is .... but how uninteresting almost everyone else interviewed is compared to him.

Richard Simmons got a mysterious visit Wednesday from the LAPD.

Cops were walking the grounds of Simmons' estate, and it's particularly odd because Richard wasn't there ... he's in the hospital dealing with gastrointestinal issues.

There was a car accident outside his home Saturday, but we're positive it's unrelated to that ... the cops already handled that one.

It can't be about a welfare check because we know the LAPD was aware Richard had his manager take him to the hospital Monday ... and he's still there. Lots of mystery at the Simmons crib these days.

The housekeeper was slowly poisoning him, hence the crazy indigestion. I vote hospital found evidence of it when he was admitted.

Richard Simmons left with huge legal bills after failed National Enquirer suit

Richard Simmons’ lawsuit against the National Enquirer is officially over — and Simmons is looking at a huge legal bill, we’re told.

Simmons sued the newspaper in May for claiming that he is transitioning into a woman.

Over the holiday weekend, LA Judge Gregory Keosian rubber-stamped his decision to dismiss the enigmatic fitness guru’s case, arguing that it’s not defamatory to say someone is transgender.

Simmons is now on the hook for the legal expenses of the National Enquirer, which Page Six is told could run into “hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

Simmons may yet appeal the decision. His rep didn’t get back to us.

Would have been cheaper and more effective to just take a few strolls around the neighbourhood and let everyone see that he's not. Plus, word gets out that he's fine and he's left to live his life in peace without people checking on him all the time.
