I don't think that all boy band members were/are molested. I also, don't think he did for publicity...nothing good can come out of him going public with his molestation, but the creep gets arrested, kids who were keeping silent about their molestations will get the courage to speak out...I damn sure don;t see him getting a career booster!!

Well if i had a modicum of talent and someone offerred me my choice between two jobs--1) using my talent to make a lot of money, or 2) taking a shit job for pennies (no offence to McDonalds workers--i respect ANYONE who works for a living) i think i would take option number 2--especially if part of the package was a pseudo-father that was otherwise missing in my life.

It's just a matter of time before the press would find out about these allegations anyway, so i admire anyone who stands up and says "yes, this happened". Abusers count on silence so any survivor who speaks out, i say good on you. It's a hell of a secret to carry around and one of the reasons no one wants to say anything is because there are always going to be people who say 'well it's only for publicity, or only for money, or only because they are bitter or disgruntled' etc etc.
