I wonder though, how that veil is fixed in her back hair. It seems to be long and however lightweight, isn't it pulling? I have a problem with ponytail for it pulls and make my scalp hurt, let alone some umpteen-foot veil.
I was wondering the same thing. Maybe because it is the length of the train and resting on it, that helps her move forward more easily, with no pulling?

Probably... In my estimation it must be bolted onto her scull, no less. I can hardly imagine how it can be held in place in a hairdo without destroying the bun/chignon/whatever.

The whole shebang is up on YouTube and worth a look if you're into Eurotrash royals.

BTW, what happened to the Dutch prince who had the ski/avalanche accident earlier this year? Last I heard he was in a coma on life support. Did he recover?

^ I don't know. We need an update!

I thought these were wonderful wedding photographs taken from all angles. Some of the best I have seen.

It does look like a spectacular royal wedding. Beautiful gown, impressive veil, cute pageboys.

No. He will never recover. He did open his eyes once. Just sad. I check on him every now & then.

I'm in love with the dress, the lace, the veil, the train and the flowers. It's all beautiful.

CP Felipe looks like he's one cigar away from being a ship's captain. Letizia looks better here than she normally does, at least her face does anyway.

Love the veil and the hair. The dress just looks like a huge doily to me.

Ooh very glam! I do love the bride's dress, I just feel the train is excessive. The groom looks relaly handsome

Not me. Royal weddings require trains that cover freeways, as far as I'm concerned. To me, Kate Middleton's dress was drab and pedestrian. Royals need to give us pomp and sparkle when they marry. I insist.

So I love this dress. I also love Princess Victoria's dress. It's taupe, but it's splendid.

Love a royal wedding - esp when the bride and groom actually look so happy to be doing it as well. Best part for me after that is always going to be the guests and seeing who turns up in what - everyone barring Princess Caroline of Beige looks quite lovely so slightly disspointed - where's the cracktacular hats?

Her hair and veil are so beautiful, she looks very elegant. I thought she was about 38 and was shocked when I read 28. She doesn't have wrinkles, but her face just looks a lot more mature, maybe it's the hair color and makeup.

    ^^^
she's got old lady face. it's not that she's got wrinkles or anything, there's just something slightly granny-ish about her features, especially when she grins.
