I fail to see how not trashing her for collecting her fee for a service she provided is the same as letting her off the hook for talking to TMZ? I don't think anyone argued she wasn't "unethical" for going to TMZ.

My daughters has twin 4 year old boys and I've seen her place look worse than this, (minus the graffiti). It isn't dirty, just really messy. I'll give her a break.

I still think there was nothing wrong with the stylist being paid for her work, but I wasn't convinced she had done anything wrong selling her story. This changes things completely.

I don't care who went to TMZ or Radar or whatever. All I care about is: are the photos genuine? The fact that someone had to go to a tabloid for Octomom to get fucking workable toilets going in a house with 14 kids tells me all I need to know about her.

I read an article where the writer followed a documentary crew who was making a show about Octomom and her kids. This was that old house she lost for non-payment, but the writer talked about the kids writing all over the walls there too. He also wrote about how the kids were absolutely out of control and that the older kids exhibited behavioral problems and beat up on the little ones. Several of the kids have special needs and none of the kids seemed to get any one on one attention from anyone, so they were all constantly acting out.

I can see her losing all her kids and still having (her version of) perfect hair and nails. While they were still in hospital, she was still papped at the beauty salon. Priorities, she haz them.

Another day, another story about Octomom getting freebies and milking the system. First I want to mention that a lot of people are out of work and struggling in today’s economy and I think extreme, very visible cases like this can cause “some unnecessary/unwarranted ill will towards those who need WIC and food stamps,” to quote Bedhead. I asked her to give me her take on this story, because I believe that people like Suleman are the exception, and I know hard working families who feed their children healthy food using assistance. This lady is a cartoon character, we can’t take her as an example of an average family on food stamps. Consider that she’s famous for having more children at once than any woman in the world. (For now. Her record is about to be broken.) Remember that she did this on purpose while unmarried, unemployed and living with her parents. Whack. Job.
Delving into today’s Nadya Suleman stories, she got some of the graffiti and damage in her home cleaned up – for free of course. I say “some” because TMZ has video of her running around the house proving that her three toilets are all functional. In that video you can see spray paint tags inside her bathrooms. You know, even if I had 14 kids to look after at once I think I could prevent them from spray painting the inside of my damn house. That just boggles my mind. (Not that I would ever willingly watch 14 kids for even an hour, so maybe I just don’t realize.) Suleman got a lot of work on her home comped by the company she “works” for, DialAStar, which also employs such illustrious celebrities as Michael Lohan, Dina Lohan, and Tila Tequila. You can talk to Octomom for $12 a minute, and you know she’s not declaring that on her taxes since that would make her ineligible for 4-5k a month in government money. Because obviously she gets the whole $12 per min, like Dialastar doesnt have any overheads... Here’s TMZ’s story on this:

DialAStar.com — the website that pays celebs to talk to their fans on the phone — donated the company’s first month of profits (over $10,000) to spruce up Nadya’s house.
A rep for the website — which employs Octomom along with several other celebs — tells TMZ, cleaners have already started painting over the giant murals of graffiti inside and outside of the house, patching holes in the wall, and fixing the doors.
As for Octomom’s stylist’s claims that only one toilet works in the house — we got video of Octo proving it’s no longer true … you see her flushing THREE toilets.

Oh great, another company rewarding Octo for being wildly irresponsible with her money.
Also, Radar claims that the hairdresser “set up” Suleman with those photos of her trashed home. Apparently the hairdresser sold the photos to TMZ before she alerted the authorities. Some of you have floated the theory that this whole story was a scam by Suleman and the stylist to earn her some more media coverage and freebies. After all, who has graffiti tags inside their home when they’re not living in a meth lab? You could be right, but I don’t think that Suleman is that good of an actress. I think this went down like she’s claiming, and she spun it and used it to her advantage like the grifter that she is.
As for the investigation by CPS into the living conditions at Suleman’s home, she claims that they praised her and practically called her a supermom. She told TMZ “They can’t even believe that I can do what I’ve been doing.” Given how fast this lady talks, I think she has a lot of help from ADHD medication. At least her kids aren’t in imminent danger though – according to her. We know how much we can trust the things she says.

Well, the house is supposed to be auctioned this morning. Wonder what's going to happen? The guy that sold her the house and held the deed (as he was acting like the bank) claims that he has lost everything because of this. His own residence was foreclosed on.

Last week she came under fire after images of her squalid home emerged and she was accused of child neglect.
Now Nadya Suleman, otherwise known as 'Octomom', says she regrets having such a large brood.
The mother-of-fourteen also told The Sun newspaper that she is not a 'maternal person'.

'If I knew then what I know now they wouldn’t be here,' she said of her octuplets to the the British paper.
'What was I thinking? I’m not a maternal person. It’s hard for me to be attached to anyone which is why I’ve been celibate for 13 years. I’m asexual and have no desires at all.
'So all that energy goes on the kids.'
The brunette said that despite being implanted with six embryos, she only ever wanted one more child after already being a mother-of-six.

Moving on: After claims of child neglect last week, Octomom was seen going to the gym yesterday


'I wanted one more baby after the six. I thought "I’m on a roll, what’s one more?" she said.
'I refused selective reduction before they were born but I didn’t choose to have all these.'
Last week Octomom’s hairdresser lodged claims she was neglecting her children at La Habra Police Department, which prompted an investigation.
The woman called Stephanie said she had spent $520 on two cuts and chemical straightening for herself.

But Octomom insists that the amount was a payment in advance for 29 haircuts, all for her entire brood.
After her hairstylist lodged the claims against Suleman, images of her squalid home then emerged.

Suleman now claims that the damage done to the house was by her elder children.
She told The Sun that they suffer from autism, but are usually well behaved, due to her amazing skills as a parent.

'The eight are the easiest of all the kids,' she told the paper.
'I am very strict and implement a lot of structure and discipline.

Since her visit by child services last week, Octomom has claimed to TMZ she has been given 'a full bill of health'.

She added that the Orange County Department of Children and Family Services claimed her home was 'a very suitable environment for these children'.
She also said: 'They can't even believe that I can do what I've been doing.'
Last week Octomom’s hairdresser lodged claims she was neglecting her children at La Habra Police Department, which prompted an investigation.
A team from California social services inspected the 36-year-old's home after being told there was only one working toilet.
The children were also said to be malnourished and unclean.
It was said some of the children were using portable training toilets located in their bedrooms and in the backyard, and that her brood appear malnourished and unbathed.
The stylist, called Stephanie, claimed to have observed Suleman locking her kids in a bedroom using a chair propped up against the door while she tended to personal matters.

Clean-up crew: Maids turned up to Suleman's home last week four hours after the pictures of her filthy home were made public

Stephanie said: 'The kids are in desperate need of help, and I tried to help and she's not open to anyone helping her.'
She said the boys were wearing girls’ clothes, were neglected, and Suleman was incapable of caring for them.
Suleman became known worldwide three years ago when she gave birth to eight babies. She already had six children.

What I dont understand is why she keeps reminding everyone she regrets having those children. I want to know why she came out saying TMZ thinks shes 'Super Mom' and then comes out with this immediately afterwards. She clearly lacks sense.
