I hope this campaign has an effect. I signed the petition thing on the site.
I agree too. I just can't help but wonder about the time, effort and money PETA has put into bringing down the Olsons. If anything, it might just make their clothing lines MORE popular...like PETA's thing with J.Lo's Sweetie line. J.Lo's fur shit flew off the shelves after Peta tried to stop it. Just saying.

Thumbs up Right on, Sweetie!

PETA is vicious and they aren't afraid to eviscerate humans with their words and deeds. Makes me wonder for what compassion they stand?

They use way too much shock-value in their campaigns and not enough substance.

I find this one pretty amusing because sometimes the celebrities who endorse PETA's causes are fur wearers or meat eaters or violate another one of their many, many prohibitions. If you want to be an exemplary PETA member, you can't eat meat, fish, dairy or anything containing gelatin or retin; you can't wear fur, leather or any other animal products; you have to watch out for make-up testing, etc. But of course, celebrities who pitch for them get a free pass, right?

I don't like the Olsens but they're just young women who are insecure, anxious to be fashionable and not very socially conscious; I don't think they deserve to be demonized. The viciousness of this attack just makes PETA look like they're desperate for attention and out of ideas.
