Oh, wow... I love her. I used to watch L&S all the time on Nick at Nite when I was a kid. How sad... I hope it's not as bad as it seems.

An agent for director Penny Marshall has denied a tabloid report that the star is sick with a brain tumor.
Earlier this week, the National Enquirer claimed the former “Laverne & Shirley” star had been diagnosed with a brain tumor and was “battling for her life.”
But it’s not true, according to Penny’s agent.
“She’s fine,” the agent told Access Hollywood.
Additionally, a source at the 66-year-old star’s production company said Penny is fine.
“I spoke to Penny yesterday,” the source said. “She is in New York. She is not in a hospital, she is not sick, she is doing well and is really great!”
The source added that Penny is expected at a game on Wednesday night in New York City, but could not confirm if it would be Game 6 of the World Series between the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies.

But then: as much as we hate it, the National Enquirer is often
right.

If it's either liver or lung, neither one is good and both are terrible. NE is usually right on with this stuff. She may not be ready to go public yet. She will have decisions to make and may need some time before blabbing to the world.
