...again, must be a NC thang....I have to pay nearly twice as much for Hellmans than for Dukes....it's not as sweet as Miracle Whip, but it's much sweeter and smoother than Hellmans....

Ha! Must be. I'll do Hellmans or Miracle Whip on a Sandwich (I really just prefer the Kraft Mayo, but no one really gives a damn), but I know way too many people that would cut a bitch for insulting Duke's mayo or using anything besides Duke's.

Yep, "yer frum 'roun ere"....please don't take any of my NC local comments personally, I have met some nice folks here...but there are more than one state's share of idiots around....and they take their Dukes VERY seriously...one little checkout girl at the grocery store actually asked me what Hellman's was...I told her to read the label...it says REAL Mayonnaise...then I remembered where I was and figured that she probably couldn't read....

Yep, it's a good mix of some great folks and some epic assholes. With everything in between. I take it you're not native NC? Judging by your comment in the thread about the Maiden pastor, we're probably not too far apart at all.

Well, you'll know what I'm saying then....I've been living here since 1992....and they still identify my house as belonging to the dead guy who used to live there...and I'm still the "new guy" at work....to the rest of my neighbors, I'm the "asshole Yankee that just moved here"....but since I was in my 30's when I moved here, I don't have the accent...and I still use my horn like a good Yankee which pisses everyone off

20 years is pretty local and pretty brave. Same thing with my house, it's always the ****"s family house even though they've been dead for 20 years and 4 owners ago. Nice offer.

If it makes you feel any better, I grew up here in bumfuck SC and still get the stink eye for my decade of living out west even though I moved back here 8 years ago.

Well, dang! Don't you know you are NEVER, EVER supposed to leave your home town in bumfuck (*insert southern state here*)? You're supposed to get married right out of high school (or while still in high school), start poppin' out yung'uns immediately, go to work at the local refinery, mill, warehouse, or whatever industry your bumfuck town is known for, and never want to leave!

And any vacations whould be taken within a 100 mile radius.
