    When I was studying abroad I went on the Sound of Music bus tour, it was amazing! 7 girls in a minivan, singing along to every song. The poor male driver! ha ha.

    We went to both palaces where it was filmed and saw the gazebo - though it was closed b/c too many people had gotten hurt trying to jump from bench to bench recreating "16 going on 17". It was February and covered in snow, absolutely gorgeous.

    Totally would have tried this myself a few hundred years ago. Totally would not have been able to stop at least two of my kids from doing it now... and yes, they're all grown.

    Right!? What a reason to close something.

    I also agree, Salzburg was stunning. I'd love to go back someday and stay longer than the 48 hours I was there.
