I agree with that. It was nothing like it was hyped to be. Same old plot that's been done a million times. But I liked Tilda and Tom Wilkinson. But over all it was suckage.

It's a fantasy series, so kids have just as much of an inclination to want to be witches and wizards as they do wanting to go to boarding school. She's a bit off with this one, imo.

I don't quite get her hatred of boarding schools. And what's with the "fetishization" bit? It's a weird thing to say. Or she didn't express it clearly.

She works very hard at being "different." If she was younger, she would be shopping at Hot Topic, listening to boy bands in girl pants, and feeling misunderstood.

I adore Tilda, she's a goof and quite lovely in her own way.

I have loved her ever since I saw video of her after the Oscars. She was so unbelievably nice and accommodating to all of her fans. She was signing autographs for almost half an hour, making small talk with everyone, so natural, like she was just one of them. About five minutes in, a guy asked her if he could hold her Oscar while she was signing, just kidding around. Without a second's hesitation, she said "here you go, darling" and went back to signing autographs and making small talk. Fifteen minutes later, someone asked her where her Oscar was. She said "oh I don't know, where is it anyway?" without even looking around. The lady pointed at it (it was being held by the same guy) and then asked if she could hold it too and Tilda said sure, of course. Not only that, she let a ton of people then hold it and take pictures with her. She was so nonchalant about her Oscar and she was so down to earth and charming, just miles away from most celebrities today. I have loved her ever since, I always admired her as an actress but this was the first time I realized what a kickass person she is.
