So I shouldn't tell my youngest step-daughter that feeding her daughter a steady diet of junk food and pop is bad for her, and that's why her teeth are rotting at the age of 5? I'm not sure I have to be a mother to form that opinion.

Personally, I think using a mobile phone with all that deadly radiation is probably more risky. But as I say, it's a personal choice - just don't start lecturing other women who choose otherwise.
That is my thoughts exactly! God, the amount of stuff I was warned against was mind boggling. I was sure it was because of the sue happy culture we are now. Personally though, I never drank through my pregnancy. That was my choice. It took me years to get pregnant and I'd also had a miscarriage and I didn't want to risk it. It killed me at times, I love a glass of wine sometimes with dinner, but to me it was better be safe than sorry. I wouldn't be bothered if someone else had the occasional drink, their choice, their body, not my business.

you can tell your stepdaughter anything you like - I don't need your advice. See the difference? If I want advice from someone, I'll call my mother as she raised 6 children and probably has a better grasp of what's going on at any given time.

Why anybody would get involved with someone in recovery is beyond me. Way more trouble than they're worth (in a romantic relationship) and I'd always be holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to fall.

^Isn't it a 'contract' marriage anyways? So I doubt she really cares.

Very, VERY true. We are all fantastic parents until we become parents

For my second and third trimesters, my OB actually recommended I have a small glass of wine in the evening to calm my nerves, followed by a glass of water.

I don't know why people think that. They are both well known in their own right in different industries. What do they have to gain by pretending to be married?

In most of the pics I've seen of Nicole and Keith together, Nicole is always smiling or laughing and she looks completely relaxed and truly happy ... a big difference from the reserved poses with CrazyCruise.
Her publicist flat out denied it completely. Even called NYP gossip columnist Cindy Adams an idiot:

    KIDMAN PUBLICIST BLASTS ALCOHOL REPORTS

Nicole Kidman's publicist has slammed reports the pregnant actress was spotted boozing backstage at the Oscars, insisting the star would never be so careless with her health.
New York Post columnist Cindy Adams claimed Kidman was sipping wine at the Academy Awards on Sunday (24Feb08), and her report has fired up publicist Catherine Olim.
Olim fumes, "Nicole Kidman most certainly did NOT drink white wine or any other alcoholic beverage backstage. She had water and lemon zinger tea. That's it. I know, I was there with her.
"I cannot remember that last time that Cindy Adams got anything right. She's an idiot, and you can quote me."
