True, but like everything in Hollywood, everything has to be polar. Someone has to be the controlling evil bitch (Tom) and someone has to be the underdog who came to her senses (Nicole). I think the public will take her side.

Maybe they did IVF with ICSI early in their marriage. ICSI is Intracytoplasmic sperm injection, if they can find just one sperm in the guy's semen they can inject it into the egg. And if there is a zero sperm count, they can sometimes get cells from the testicles and inject one of those into the egg, even before it's a sperm cell. It's amazing. Only the most infertile men can't be helped by this method. And maybe she miscarried that baby. I believe that Suri is genetically Tom's. She really does look like him. But I believe she was conceived via IVF with ICSI, not with a turkey baster. I think that Katie is a glorified surrogate. She got pregnant so soon after they started dating, it's amazing they sought treatments so early. That must have been part of the contract. No way was that a love child. Imagine that the egg wasn't even Katie's? They could have pulled a switcheroo. That would be interesting. If she ever leaves him and wants custody he could do a DNA test and prove that she's not genetically the mother. He's diabolical, I could see it.

She is probably speaking out a bit now because the kids are getting older and sooner or later they will be adults who can make their own decisions and visit whenever they feel like it. I think this whole time they've been used as a tool by Tom to make sure she doesn't speak, and they were so young that he could use them for his gain, and deny her visitation if she stepped out of line. Granted, I don't think we'll ever get the full truth, until maybe she's old and grey, but it seems like she's gradually letting the world know that theres something really sinister about this cult. Hope she doesn't start getting harassed like the BBC reporter and various others.

I've always thought that ICSI method is what they used for Suri. My daughter and husband used that. All it takes is one good sperm. Even men who are "sterile" usually have some sperm.

She probably signed off any rights regarding the kids off to Tom when she signed that contract back in the day, which was meant to further her career, but ended in her own personal disaster.

I have a feeling that that contract had a time limit on it and that it is about to end, which is why she starts talking now. Or by taking the kids from her, Tom lost the leverage he had on Nicole.

One way or the other, I hope we can look forward to many more juicy details to come.

I don't get how people would brand Nicole as the bad parent, when we all now what a greedy, manipulative control freak Tom is.

She didn't move to Sydney, she has a home in Nashville with Urban. While she does own a home on Sydney harbour, she's only over here atm filming the movie "Australia".

I hate to say it, but it could come down to the fact that they are her adopted children instead of her biological ones. Most people who adopt feel their kids are "theirs" just as much as biological kids would be in every way. But what if she was forced to go along with their adoption as part of the Make Tom Cruise Look Hetero Contract? I can see how she would love them as well as she could, but in the end if Tiny Tom puts up a wall so thick and tall she has no hope of penetrating to see those kids...well, her only consolation is that they're not her biological kids, they were kids she was contractually required to mother and as sad as it may be, she can start over with her own.

I don't think Nicole is as heartless as some make her out to be, even though she might not be the most selfless mother ever, either.

I don't know much (well.. anything really) about IVF. Is it possible Katie had another mans sperm mixed with her eggs and then implanted into her? So she had Suri? Like do you get to see a picture of the sperm donor? Maybe they picked one that looked like Tom??

The kids were lost to Scientology the day they were adopted. They've been home schooled (by Scientologists, natch) and are totally immersed in the whole wacko world of Scientology so going to this 'camp' is really only an extension of that. I don't blame her for being angry about it but it's nothing new and it doesn't appear that she's been fighting tooth and nail to have the kids live a relatively 'normal' life either (if celeb kids ever have a 'normal' life).

But even way before the kids, Nicole knew that Tom was a Scientologist when she started dating him. Before they got married, I'm sure Tom let her know that he wanted his kids brought up C0$ and she agreed or I'm sure he wouldn't have married her and found a more suitable wife.

It probably is also wrapped in contracts so Nicole couldn't renig on it.

Personally, with these kids growing up in L.A with celebrity parents, they may grow up to be more sensible than most celebrity born kids.
No drugs, drinking , smoking it sounds pretty in line with what most parents instill in their kids anyway.
I get the vibe from Nicole that she would want to be "friends" with her kids and be the "cool" parent. I'm sure she'd think it funny if her kids smoked behind the shed or coloured their hair blue.

Hence the reason why Tom doesn't want anything being undermined.

He seems a great father to me. So it's team Cruise here at least as far as his fathering skills go.
