Someone posted here that the late King Baudoin and Queen Fabiola of Belgium were members of Opus Dei. Fabiola was going to enter a convent.

One of my aunts lived near Hickory Hill in McLean and my cousins were often there with the kids. They were just the neighbors to them. My aunt and her family were one of the few black families in the neighborhood and they were far from wealthy, but they were always invited to the pool parties there and one cousin often acted as the lifeguard for the parties.

I've always despised the entire Kennedy clan. Bunch of entitled murderers and crooks.

The more I find out about Jackie, the less I like her. Plus, she had size 12 feet.

Jackie had a big head, big hands and feet - like a tranny!! She and Charmaine Hunter-Gault used to go shoe shopping together because Charmaine knew were all the shoe stores in NYC were that catered to larger shoe sizes for women. And Jackie would have been the first one to tell you dem dogs was big - Ethel, cunt that she was, made a crack about them when JFK bought Jackie to meet the family. Jackie was telling the Kennedys about how much she enjoyed taking ballet and wished she could have been a dancer. Ethel snarked, "Not with THOSE CLODHOPPERS!!". Jackie was a snob and she was greedy as hell, but she was way nicer than Ethel could ever have hoped to be. Plus I think the proof is in the pudding that she was a better parent.

Damnit, Bitter, now you are giving me flashbacks to when my parents used to make me watch the MacNeil Lehrer report during dinner!

Like my mom says, she's not beautiful, but she was glamorous and chic. Unconventional looking. But no, NOT beautiful at all.

I read a Kennedy biography awhile back. One anecdote was when Ted was campaigning for President, someone hugged him leaving behind a "Kennedy for Lifeguard " button. Makes me giggle every time I think about it.

In all honesty, it's the last thing I notice on a woman, but I sure did notice Charlayne Hunter Gault's VERY striking features. Also very distinctive voice.
