Twins? That's lucky. She will only have to get knocked up once.

Twins? Well colour me shocked! This isn't about old eggs, this is about Charlene not being able to contain her revulsion long enough to get knocked up the more traditional way.

I'll put my bet in that they are fraternal twins. If she had IVF and is having twins they are going to be fraternal.

When you feel you have to throw this into a pregnancy announcement:

I've said time and time again that Charlene and Albert are a genuinely happy couple, she just gets overwhelmed with the press attention...
    It's not true.

Look I agree that she knew what she was in for after dating him so long, but once she realize she didn't want it, there was no way out.
I was at home the day they got married, my mother was watching it with her friend. Now she is the opposite of me in terms of gossip but they couldn't stop talking about it ' , so did the broadcaster on tv. It was on the news, in the newspapers ect

For who cares, I am posting the link and a couple outtakes of the article as it is 3 pages long, it took me a while and some googling to remember the name Eringer, he seems like a dodgy figure but he was employed by Albert for a couple of years. (reads like an episode of House of cards),

The Prince And The Blogger - Forbes
In July, while Prince Albert II of Monaco celebrated his three-day-long, $65 million wedding to Charlene Wittstock, his lawyers tried to stomp out allegations that His Highness had raped a young female painter seven years ago. His legal team focused its artillery power–13 lawsuits–on Robert Eringer, a novelist and former spymaster, whom the Palace called a ”shakedown” artist. These days Eringer has turned irrepressible blogger, devoting many of his waking hours in Santa Barbara, Calif. to embarrassing the prince any way he can on his website, eringer33.com....

By all rights Eringer, 57, and the prince, 53, ought to be pals. Back in 2002 they hit it off so well over drinks at Monte Carlo’s Hotel Columbus, Eringer says, that Albert hired him to be his personal spymaster and keep sketchy people–arms dealers and money launderers among them–out of the tiny 800-year-old nation-state, including folks like Sir Mark Thatcher, the son of the former British prime minister, who was denied residency in Monaco.

Eringer’s suit claimed that during one discussion about Jazmin, the prince asked him, tongue-in-cheek, ”Could you arrange for her to have an accident?”

For now, anyway, the prince is legally off-limits. Eringer had withdrawn his original suit against Albert and refiled it against Monaco because immunity for states–sovereign immunity–is more restrictive than for heads of government. It might have been a nice test case. But, in the wake of the U.S. district court’s recent ruling, it seems that Monaco can’t be touched either.

Rollo, I really hope this is just slander.
There are those who believe Erlinger and those who think he is a big liar.
Monaco is the Las Vegas of Europe, full with rich people who have money to be laundered. Not the fairy tale place they want yo
Last year, Monaco's former head of security André Muhlberger (who was babysitting Charlene before the wedding?) was brutally murdered (by Russian Mafia?).
About 2 weeks ago, Monaco's richest woman and close friend to the grimaldi's and Charlene Hélène Pastor died after she was ambushed (by Italian / Russian Mafia?)

Wasn't it W. Somerset Maugham who called Monaco, "A sunny place for shady people"?

ETA: I see that they used that quote in the article.
