Okay, since generalizations are cutting through the air like
the flying Walendas, let me clarify at least MY p.o.v.
I've never seen a show with this kid, nor heard a song of
hers. I saw about 5 minutes of her and her dad on Oprah
(another one of my favorite people). I don't care if she's
from the Disney stable or whatever other entertainment
company, I just don't give a shit.
I'm a Christian, but I'm not some Bible fanatic and I don't
even go to church every month. I'm not a prude, or puritanical
zealot.
Yes, I know that "kids grow up faster" these days. And like
I said earlier: kids her age and even younger do blowjobs
for fun during recess.
The only point I was trying to make is: just BECAUSE that's
apparently the new "normal" for the current generation of
(pre-) teens and twens, does that make it right?
I don't think so.
I think it's a sad commentary on how degenerated society
has become that people are pimping out their underaged
kids for money. And they've had such "good" examples in
the past: The Jackson's (especially Wacko) to name just
one.
Currently all the trainwreck ho's are still in their twenties
and have led "lives" of sex, drugs, rock 'n roll, addictions,
kids, 20 minute marriages, run ins with the law and so on
and so forth. How enviable and what good examples.
Now, I'm not a person who thinks celebrities should serve
as role models. However, unfortunately, there's a huge
number of (pre-) teens and twens who DO try to emulate
everything their "hero of the moment" does, be it starving
themselves to fit in a size 0, smoking, drinking, tattoes,
sex, WHATEVER.
And this little ugly chicky falls in the "hero of the moment"
category so sure there's plenty of even younger, even
more impressionable kids out there, whose parents are
perhaps as stunted in their mental growth as ole Billy Ray
Cyrus is, who see no wrong in emulating her in everything
she does, even if it's just a pose in a photoshoot.
In this day and age of internet and all kinds of anonymous
hook ups, such Lolita behavior could lead to much more
than these little hero worshippers can handle, because
unlike the Miley Cyrus' of the world, they don't have
bodyguards and handlers to fend off anybody who's gotten
the wrong idea from their "hero copy cat" looks and behavior.
I don't care if a 12-15 year old can be dolled up and pose
to look like 18 or over. I do care that they're mentally not
half as "ready" as their suggestive poses and behavior alledge.
