I don't find the photos offensive. I do think they're inappropriate for a fifteen year old. She looks like she just had a hard sex romp, from her smeared blow job lipstick to the tousled hair, it looks like she just got laid. Inappropriate for a fifteen year old.

I am shocked and outraged! Think of all of those perfectly lovely trees that sacrificed their lives in order to print this crap. At least waste some trees on someone worthwhile, not some bland, manufactured pop tart du jour.

Of course this has been totally blown out of proportion, but what media story isn't?
I agree with everyone who has said that these photos are inappropriate for a 15 year old disney star who is idolized by preteen girls.
Restraint wasn't shown by her parents and Annie. She is not an adult and her career decisions are made by her parents. I think that Jamie Lee Curtis' comments were right on the mark.

Disney Princess, they can't wait for her to go down in flames - they're almost provoking it in a way, hoping by prodding her with a stick she'll do something insane or slutty. Its not like they are hoping she learns from her mistakes, its the opposite - they're just waiting for her to fuck up more. And the comparisons to Britney are old - give me a break - maybe in the future, but now? Miley is not even CLOSE to batshit Brit and her antics. They are making a big deal out of this because the public needs to sink its teeth into something juicy - whats better than a tween queen becoming "pornish"? Maybe we can hope for even more! The whole thing is just disgusting (and I'm not even talking about the pictures).

I think most people are just sick of the marketing hype and being cynical is the easiest way to deal with it.

I'm just sick of seeing her EVERYWHERE. I was at Wal*Mart tonight, and probably saw her ugly mug in 7,000 different places. When I told mom I was tired of seeing her, she started taunting me by tossing all her crap in my direction. T___T

What offends me the most is that she can't sing worth a damn, yet she's all over the radio. She gives me a headache.
How does everyone think her fans' parents are going to react to this?

Can't sing, she's ugly and she has a speaking voice that sounds like she's smoked a million packs of Marlboro Reds. Totally unattractive package for me. I don't get what the kiddlets see in her.

If Gawker--super liberal media--says these photos are sexual and disturbing....then they're right. And that's what they say. These photos are obviously sexual innuendo and completely inappropriate.
Annie is guilty because she's an overrated twatwaffle hack. Billy Ray and Trish are guilty because they need to protect their daughter. Miley is guilty because she knows what she's doing and could have said no.
They're stupid photos and she looks ugly in them, too.

Hi Honey!
Miley Cyrus is ugly. At least Britney was kind of cute in her stupid photos.

i agree. people are acting like an angry puritanical mob, it's like something out of the simpsons. outraged that their disney virgin has fallen and spewing cyber-vitriol like modern-day torches and pitchforks. it's so contradictory. on the one hand, no one is more puritanical than the americans (oh noez, a nipple!!!! eeeeek!!! outrage!) - except maybe the iranians , but on the other, nowhere else do you find more mini-slut clothes in the kids' department and nowhere else are so many pre-teens turned into celebrities and you have 12 and 13 year-olds strutting the red carpet dressed like mini-adults, and it's all fine and dandy as long as they play their role but the minute they're shown as what they are - teenagers with raging hormones that make bad judgement calls (and have trashy redneck morons for parents), all hell breaks loose.
it's all pretty entertaining, really.

The guy on the radio said that America needs to re-instate God or else in 10 years the country will be gone.
I sort of agree with him, not specifically for the above mentioned, but in general... morality and respect and everything. I mean these freaks of nature we're raising are the fucking future. And they're fucked! So are we, as oldies.
