I agree no one is saying it straight out, but the mere fact of such images has the effect of sexualizing underage girls. These things happen in incremental steps. Some taboos need to be broken, like for instance interracial couples in any type of media, but the slippery slope we are on now with these types of images is not a good thing.

absolutely not porn, but it can still be sexually suggestive and not be porn, I think. And it may be my opinion, but I do believe the picture was meant to be sexually suggestive. Whether or not its appropriate for 15 year old girl to be even subtly sexually suggestion is a whole other issue, but at face value, I don't think she is thinking about puppies running in a field when I look at that picture.

Don't lie and pretend like you didn't know it would cause a stir. She knew what she was doing; to turn around and apologize proves she only did it for attention in the first place. Then I think she tried to milk it even further by apologizing for something she isn't in the least sorry for. That's the part that's getting under my skin, and I would rather my kid pose nude than encourage this type of manipulation. They are creating a monster.

Let's see how this works for her in the long run. The photos are seductive which is not what is needed for her fan base. She chose to be a Disney Priness and knows her fanbase is a bunch of 6-11 year old girls. Looks like she is trying to distance herself from the ones who have made her rich. I do not think she has the talent to make it in the grown up world so she may have just committed career suicide.
