My 12-year-old sister and her friend were going down that route (at this age the start getting a little too close and doing silly things with their tongues for pics) until the both got lice from one of the girls. I made so much fun of them (making them embarrassed is a much better tactic than scolding) that they never attempted to snap a silly shot of the sort again.
As for Miley's pics, isn't it funny how these pics are always private and in the hands of trustworthy people and yet they "leak"? Yeah, it's all the work of Satan.

They are teenagers doing stupid things. Gee, that hasn't happened before. Also, it is not uncommon for teenage girls to experiment, or so I was told by a friend who works in psychology. She said it it just more blatant because the times and acceptance levels have changed.
On a more sinister note, I see her being the next LiLo. Her replacement should begin being groomed. LiLo probably won't be around much longer.

I'm 57 and I did things like that when I was a teen. My girls are married and in their 30's with kids and they did the same things. Geesh people get a grip.

They aren't doing anything wrong though. Kids of much younger ages sexually experiment with each other. Ok, they don't take photos of it, but these girls aren't even kissing. They're just having a laugh. No big deal.

I think many teenage girls dress up with makeup and clothes and get pouty into cameras with sexy poses - its part of the growing up process where they want to look and seem adult.
I think what makes it seem worse is the pantless factor and the skanky look on the other girls face, plus the sharing the candy which is obviously meant to be sexual.
All in all, I don't think it in itself is a HUGE deal. Could be nothing at all, or could be just the beginning stages of LiLo-dom. Only time will tell...

I don't think these photos are that bad. I'm young and I mean, I know a lot of other girls my age that take photos of themselves kissing other girls, drunk and parading around with beer boxes on their heads like it's "cool", and dressed up as skanks and they post them on myspace like it's something to be proud of. 
Miley's pics are not good photos but not that bad of photos either. But who's to say that will always be. Give her a few years, like others have said, and we could see much worse...

Someone mentioned on another thread that they get a lesbian vibe from Miley, and I kinda do too.
Not that that's bad, but I bet mama and daddy are gonna have a sh*t fit when they figure it out.
