Love him, and I so wanted him to win the Oscar but damn...seeing that old pic of him just reminds me that he sure used to be a lot easier on the eyes. *cringe*

Win the Oscar for playing a character much like himself ? He was hardly one of the greatest actors from the eighties. This interview is a joke. He use to be hot, but he makes my skin crawl now.

I didn't know his PS was actually reconstructive surgery.. I thought it was just a midlife crisis face-lift deal. I'm glad he sorted his life out.

oh please on the 'reconstuctive surgery' bullshit. he's been hacking up his face for a long time, and yes, some of it may have been 'reconstructive'- to repair other botched ps.

Didn't his face get smashed a lot while he was boxing? I heard he wasn't that good. But I'm sure he's no stranger to vanity surgery either.

^ I'm sure he did (broken nose or cheekbone) but I'd say much more of his surgery was driven by vanity....... that face lift wasn't 'reconstructive'. 
I used to see him quite a bit in Miami, he had a club there for a few years, he's a scary wreck in person- looks like Raymond Massey in 'Arsenic and Old Lace'. He was a big old coke head/alkie in those days.
