Seems to me it's all b/s. If they really cared about the dogs why didn't they investigate it further? Why stop with Vick when they know it's wide spread...

also Vick was in trouble for a long time with drugs and ho's and the Falcons covered it up. He is being sued by his last girlfriend b/c he knowingly gave her herpes.

Do the time for the crime. I'm a animal lover whohoo PETA and all that but after Vick does his time if he can still play he should... just not in Atlanta..... a person should not be denied the right to work b/c then my taxes will be supporting his sorry butt.

Ever read the crimes professional athletes commit? One football player put a plastic bag over his 2 year olds head to get him to stop crying. Vick sucks but he's not alone.

Seriously this story runs all too close to home since I am a Virginia Tech alum and had classes with Michael and even met one of his pits, not a fighting one I believe because this was in a friends apartment complex. I also watched Marcus continue his brother's legacy. Some say Marcus would have been better than his brother had he not gotten in trouble. He had everything handed to him and he pissed it away on underage girls, drugs, and acting foolish.

It still fucking pisses me off that these idiots are what people will think of when they hear Virginia Tech.

He'll play again. He's got too much talent and he will get picked up.

He is paying the price for his crime and he deserves a second chance at life. I know it's not the popular opinion on here but it's mine.

I agree. I think they should have handed him a blow dryer while he was taking a shower but they didn't - I think they should have tied a pork chop around his neck and let the dogs fight over it, but they didn't - I think they should have tied him to a chair and let PETA rant at him for a year or two, but they didn't. The law is the law, after he does his time and if he can get a job then he should.

You do realize no matter where he plays it will go like this " and staring quarter back for the blah blah is Michael Vick" and it will be one big loud boo for the entire game.

This doesn't surprise me. Mr.Venue has a lot of ins with athletes, and he says the Vick was paying a ton of money to a Mexican gang in prison to protect him.
Wouldn't that be some shit if he couldn't pay for his protection anymore?
There are a lot of people who are in the pokey for life who wouldn't mind going down in history as the guy to shanked Michael Vick.
