Oh come on now. MJ chose that hideous nose whether it had been broken in the past or not. There were more than 2 surgeries, too. More like a dozen.

Jermaine Jackson Recalls Kids Last Moments With Father

Jermaine Jackson wishes he could trade places with his younger brother, Michael Jackson.
"He went too soon," said Jermaine -- who donned a vintage Jackson 5 T-shirt for his interview on the Today Show this morning. "I wish that it was me. I've always felt that I was his backbone, someone to be there for him. I was there and he was sort of like Moses. The things he couldn't say, I would say them."

Jermaine recalled the moment he found out his brother was dead -- in a devastating phone call from Katherine.
"She was crying, saying he was dead. To hear my mother say, 'Michael is dead,' to feel and hear the tone in her voice to say her child is dead, is nothing that anyone can ever imagine," added Jermaine, who spoke to Matt Lauer from the Neverland Ranch.
"I tried to console her," he went on, "but I wanted to see Michael and I wanted to see my brother. To see him there lifeless and breathless was very emotional for me. But I held myself together because I knew he's very much alive in his spirit, and that was just a shell. But I kissed him on his forehead, and I hugged him, and I touched him and I said Michael, 'I'll never leave you. You'll never leave me.'"
He also talked about watching Michael's three children say goodbye to their father as a therapist stood over them.
"I know it's tough, but I think it was the best thing to do. At first I was against it, but what do you say if you don't show them?" Jermaine said of the decision to have them see their dead father.

Jermaine said his brother was in good physical condition while rehearsing for his London concerts.
"I do believe and I do know that Mike is very strong, not just mentally but physically," he said. "He's a dancer, he never stopped dancing, He was already ready physically. He passed the physical, he was strong; he was ready."
But he didn't deny reports of drug use, saying he'd "be hurt" if they turned out to be true "because Michael has always been a person who was against anything like that.

"I'm not saying it's right, because it's not right," Jermaine continued . "But in this business, the pressure, and things that you go through -- you never know what people might turn to."
Jermaine says Katherine is "capable" of taking care of the children following a judge's decision to award her temporary custody.
"She's up to it," he said. "She's always with all the children, she loves laughter and the crying and all the excitement. Yes, she is."
Jermaine said he wanted Michael to be buried at Neverland Ranch, even though his view of his former home had changed after the child molestation trial.

"He was hurt, he was torn apart, and to be treated like you're not from here, to be made a mockery for the world to see, he felt that they sort of invaded his privacy," Jackson said. "A place that was so beautiful -- [to] turn it into something so ugly."
On Wednesday, a Jackson family spokesperson told Usmagazine.com no official memorial would take place at the famed estate.
"Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland," the rep said. "Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly."

I have my page views set at 20 instead of the board default so I show 169 pages. That's still an incredible amount of pages. 3362 posts including this one so far. Amazing.

Wait a second! So the kid who accusted him had plastic surgery to go unnoticed? So did his father? What kind of craziness is that? Who does PS on a kid to make him unrecognizable? Move to Montanta instead.

I loathe who and what MJ became and I cannot wait for the fallout to start after the lovefest I've seen in the last week. That sounds really strange to me though.

July 02, 2009. MediaTakeOut.com just got ahold on an interview given by Quincy Jones to Vogue Magazine just a few days ago - AFTER Michael's passing.

Dude really needs to fall back with this:
Interviewer: You were there to witness the strange evolution in Michael's appearance. Did you ever step in and saying anything about it?
Quincy: Oh, we talked about it all the time. But he'd come up with, "Man, I promise you I have this disease," and so forth, and "I have a blister on my lungs," and all that kind of b.s. It's hard, because Michael's a Virgo, man—he's very set in his ways. You can't talk him out of it. Chemical peels and all that stuff.

Interviewer: Did you believe him about the disease?
Quincy: I don't believe in any of that bullshit, no. No. Never. I've been around junkies and stuff all my life. I've heard every excuse. It's like smokers—"I only smoke when I drink" and all that stuff. But it's bullshit. You're justifying something that's destructive to your existence. It's crazy. I mean, I came up with Ray Charles, man. You know, nobody gonna pull no wool over my eyes. He did heroin 20 years! Come on. And black coffee and gin for 40 years. But when he called me to come over to see him when he was in the hospital on his way out, man, he had emphysema, hepatitis C, cirrhosis of the liver, and five malignant tumors. Please, man! I've been around this all my life. So it's hard for somebody to pull the wool over my eyes. But when somebody's hell-bent on it, you can't stop 'em.

Interviewer: But it must've been so disturbing to see Michael's face turn into what it turned into.
Quincy: It's ridiculous, man! Chemical peels and all of it. And I don't understand it. But he obviously didn't want to be black.

Interviewer: Is that what it was?
Quincy: Well, what do you think? You see his kids?

Interviewer: Did you ever discuss it? Did you ever ask, "Michael, don't you want to be a black man?"
Quincy: No, no, no, please. That's not the way you do it.

Interviewer: But he was beautiful before?
Quincy: Man, he was the most gorgeous guy.

Interviewer: But he seemed to have some deep-seated issue with how he looked?
Quincy: Well, that comes about a certain way. I'm not sure how it happens. I'm just a musician and a record producer. I'm not a psychiatrist. I don't understand all that stuff. We all got problems. But there's a great book out called Too Soon Old, Too Late Smart. Did you see that? That book says the statute of limitations has expired on all childhood traumas. Get your stuff together and get on with your life, man. Stop whinin' about what's wrong, because everybody's had a rough time, in one way or another

^^ Go Quincey!

I do see his face in the clouds. He would be so disappointed though because it is with his original nose!

While I love reading that and hearing him be honest, it doesn't settle well. Why say it all now? The dude's been dead a week. Why not man up and say it while he was alive?

Sulce, how was the fundraiser? Was there a direct link to MJ dying or did that just work out in your favor? I hope you all made a ton of money for those kiddos.

The fundraiser is tonight and the women who planned it is doing it as a direct result of MJ passing. She said she cannot celebrate the life of a man who destroyed the life of children because she cleans of the mess these adults make everyday. So she planned this as a way to honor the children who have been victimized. The place where it is being held can hold 250 people for cocktails. She sold out tickets in one day.

You know Papa Joe is behind thing. Totally disgusting.
I can understand some people being into a celebrity but to go to their home, memorial, funeral and buy t-shirts and whatnot, camp outside of their house in a tent? That is insane.

TMZ has posted that Debbie Rowe is going after custody of the two older kids and is willing to have DNA test to prove she is the mother.

She is also seeking a restraining order to keep Papa Joe away from the kids. (That actually is a good idea.)
