Flav, who considered Jackson a great friend, wasn't allowed in -- but said he'd return later.

Really fawking embarrassing how these celebs want to now 'claim' him and think he was their greatest friend, after death. While he was alive I'm sure many of them were like, meh. People always wanting to attach themselves in time of notoriety. Freaks.

Do Gr'ers ever sleep?

Yes, he was a slimeball, but if musicians who did questionable shit were snatched of all their accolades, where would Jerry Lee Lewis, married his 13 year old cousin, Elvis, check Priscilla's age when he was mesmerized by her looks, and others be?

The news here is just full blown Michael Jackson coverage even the BBC is at it.

About the Elephant Man's bones that is true! I was in the same hospital where the bones are held and MJ did enquire about buying his remains but didnt specify why. The hospital politely declined lol.

I also find it hilarious that MTV is actually playing music nonstop for the first time in ages. Its kind of sad seeing his early stuff and looking at the man that he became as well as all the molestation charges. I just think despite his musical legacy and no matter how much of the saintifying his image right now. Michael Jackson is going to be a tarnished figure especially when the stories and people are going to come out of the woodwork.

Piper James, 38, holds up his copy of Michael Jackson's landmark "Thriller" album as he makes his way down Hollywood Boulevard soon after hearing of the pop star's death. James said it wasn't his favorite Jackson album, but he knew it was his most recognizable.

Blergh...I just read that 14 of his albums are in the top 20 on amazon.co.uk.

Jerry Lee Lewis marrying his 13 year old cousin was a major, major scandal that screwed his career. He never really came back from that. I believe Priscilla was legal when Elvis married her.

And thanks for the joke, Alley. Let's see how that one goes over.

I definitely misjudged the way people would react.Unless they're doing it to be photographed.I definitely pictured the tards and freaks to come out,but not all of this public mourning.20 years ago, maybe, but now...

Jackson Family -- Demerol Shot Caused Death

Posted Jun 26th 2009 9:56AM by TMZ Staff
A close member of Michael Jackson's family has told us Jackson received a daily injection of a synthetic narcotic similar to morphine -- Demerol -- and yesterday he received a shot at 11:30 AM.

Family members are saying the dosage was "too much" and that's what caused his death.

Story developing...

Michael Jackson Doctor -- MIA

Posted Jun 26th 2009 10:00AM by TMZ Staff
We've learned the LAPD is looking for a doctor who lived at Michael Jackson's home -- and the doctor is no where to be found.

Law enforcement sources tell us a BMW belonging to the doctor was towed from Jackson's home last night.

Cops are looking to interview the doc.

A law enforcement source says the doctor gave Jackson an injection before he died.

Jackson reportedly may have OD'd on Demerol. As we first reported, family members were concerned that Jackson was taking too much morphine.
