So true...not a huge MJ fan...but i like some of his music.
My condolences to MJ’s family, especially for his children; it’s them that I feel sorry for.
Just want to add that I was not that shocked when i heard that he had died. Yes he was young (50 years) but at the same time IMO – mentally, physically and career wise he had been declining in the last decade or so. The MJ that people fell in love with (circa Thriller, Bad and Off The Wall) was long gone.

The thing is that after reading a lot of comments other places I still come back to this: would anyone think it normal and ok if Mr. So-and-so down the street invited kids over to sleep in his bed and he openly said he thought it was the greatest gift to give a kid kisses and love in his bed...but it was all just terribly innocent? I'm gobsmacked that so many people forget or willfully choose to ignore those statements. If mr. So-and-so down the road said this stuff and did this stuff he'd have his ass hauled off to jail IF the local parents didn't lynch him first.
This stuff is really bugging me, particularly because the media seems quite ready to deify this man. I couldn't care less if he was a great entertainer. He chose to do things that are completely wrong. Grrrr....

No matter what we say about MJ he still changed the music industry forever. Thriller brought the game to a whole other level. He was a great performer and had an impact on alot of the music we have today. His music will live on through generations to come.
He was troubled, he had some serious issues, I can't say otherwise. But music wise a legend died yesterday, say what you will. He's was part of almost everyone on here's life. Many ppl grew up to Michael Jackson and his music.
So RIP Michael. Your music will live on.

Yes, that sweet song was inspired by a killer rat..first seen in the movie "Willard" and the sequel "Ben."

I can't wait for the skeletons to really start tumbling out of the closet. There are people out there that know the bare bones truth that are now free to talk.

Well, I saw that "family attorney spokesman" (can't remember his name) on tv last night and he was very vocal about the prescription drug abuse and how he warned the family, especially after the death of Anna Nicole. He also said if it turns out to be the cause of death, he WILL talk.
If the reports about MJ injecting demerol before his death are true, somebody's gonna be investigated. This could be ANS all over again.

The thought definitely crossed my mind. Obviously, he only signed up for this tour because of his massive debt. The guy was desperate, but no way was he in the physical or mental shape to pull it off, and he knew it.

I hate comparing this to Elvis, but didnt Elvis have a tour lined up just prior to his death? And wasnt Elvis hooked on drugs that enablers provided him with which ultimately killed him? And didnt the first reports of Elvis death say he had a heart attack? What attacked these guys hearts? DRUGS.........And LOTS of them. But will they tell the truth in the autopsy report?

They're saying cardiac arrest at this time. Cardiac arrest is not automatically due to a heart attack. When you go into cardiac arrest, your heart stop beating regularly and just starts quivering instead. It can be caused by many things, ie. major trauma, blood loss, drugs, heart attack, etc.
When I heard the paramedics were doing CPR "in" the ambulance I pretty much knew he was going to go. When they continue to do CPR in the ambulance that means that defibrilation didn't work. When defibrilation doesn't work the person is pretty much gone. They probably tried to keep him alive but he was most likely brain dead from the moment he left his house to the time they declared him dead at the hospital.
