How could the State sue a magazine for their own security breach? If the photos are leaked by one of their employees, it's their fault.

I remember the National Enquirer printed a disturbing pic of River Phoenix in his coffin. A bit different, yes, since it was someone at the funeral home who snapped it. But the NE wasn't afraid to publish it.

*shudders* Just reading the URL rotten.com makes me want to vomit. That site has some of the sickest shit i've seen. The older I get the less I'm able to look at stuff like that, when I was younger I was like bring it ON!!!!

I doubt I'll look at the autopsy photos but will love reading everyone's comments. y'all are FUNNY!

I looked at the ones of JFK and I regretted it. Some pics are just unpleasant, but his pics made me really sad.

Pictures like these are like a train wreck or accident on the side of the road.

We hate ourselves for looking, but can't stop. I'm sure even some of those who are vehemently against the principle of such pictures cannot resist looking after a while.

I saw the Chris Farley(so, so sad, he was holding a rosary IIRC) and Kurt Cobain(could only see his lower body) ones, but like iamnoone and Chilly Willy, the older I get, the less I'm able to look at things like this.

Oh, I also saw some Nicole Brown crime scene photo's, I really regret that. That was horrific.

I just assume that since the state is a part of government that they could put some pressure on magazines not to print the pictures. I assume the government has stopped other things from leaking to the press, especially when it makes them look bad. No company would want them breathing down their throats, or making it rough on them in the future.
