"Redford directed him."
Why would Reford allow Tom to be in a movie he was directing if he "wants NOTHING to do with Tom"?
I call bullshit on this.

Apparently the deal was made quite a while ago. Something about there being a contract that went into place before the couch-jumping incident.

Um, I've heard and read rumours here that your boy Will likes the same thing that TC prefers.........and ain't female, unless you're talking about their respective beards.

Oh, I knew that. There've been rumors for years. That's why the image was nauseating, but only because of Cruise.

My friend hosted an advance screening of 'Lions for Lambs' last week. She said it was the first time she saw people leave a free screening.....

I wonder, would it have turned out better with Cruise in it?

He looks like a drunken banker.

Wow! Three huge stars and it opens with less than 7 mill. They won't make their money back on this one even with video rentals and sales.

Well now Redford and Streep can just move on, since their contractual obligation has been fulfilled. I'll bet Meryl in particular is raising a few glasses to that.

I can't really blame 'em... Tom Cruise reminds me of some girl in high school, who tries to be really popular. Always trying to get attention.

Marrying Katie was supposed to help his image, make him popular. I wonder if he'll take it out on her when his movies bomb.

Meryl and Robert rule. I remember a red carpet interview at the premiere: Tom told everyone how well him and Meryl worked together and how they clicked and so on.

I like Robert Redford and love Meryl Streep, but I would never pay to see this movie in a million years because of Tom.
