Nothing wrong with a vegan diet, but she seems like a bitch

I dunno, I wouldn't foist a vegan diet upon my kids, it just seems like taking all the joy out of simple good food for the sake of being rail-thin and muscley.

Personally I don't celebrate Christmas. If Mr. Pippin and I had children in our lives, we would, though.
I am not even baptised. Like one of my cousins in the UK, I am what my uncle refers to as a "heathen".
In lieu of holiday gifts to one another, Mr. Pippin and I take the money we would have spent on each other and we donate to a local wild bird rescue/rehabilation centre.
That also spares us from going to the dreaded mall....I absolutely loathe shopping. When we go food hunting, I make sure I am at the grocery store at opening time so I can avoid the crowds.
Christmas is a sort of holiday where I think a lot Christian people form their own traditions.
My holiday is New Year's Eve. I am always happy to kiss the year goodbye and welcome in a new year, with a few jars of course, and things seem to be bright...
Ah....the ocean.
You ought to see the storm we're getting! I can hardly see out my window...we are expecting another foot of snow!

Not all vegans are thin and vegan food is just as good as the meat stuff any day.
Just sayin'.

Yeah i hear what you're saying, but in Madonna's case she's damn skinny. I was just kinda speaking from personal experience, a friend of mine is Vegan and her diet seems pretty miserable, nothing that she eats seems very appetizing. I just think how much my family enjoys a traditional christmas dinner and then I think what my friend eats and there's no comparison!

Too right all vegans are not thin. I met a very heavyset woman who was a vegan last year and I had to bite my tongue before I blurted, |
"How come you are so fat when all you eat are vegetables?"
I know this sounds awful...but it's what I thought. She tipped the scale at easily 200 lbs and she wasn't tall. I am guessing, but I figure she must have been scarfing potato chips (vegetables) down or fries.

Madonna is skinny because she spends 30 hours at the gym everyday working out.
As for your friend, it sounds like she hasn't explored any good vegan cookbooks or vegan forums ... there's a world of great food out there with no meat or dairy, and absolutely no reason why any vegan should be eating paltry little dinners of sprouts and twigs.
Doing a traditional Christmas dinner veggie-style is easy. Mine includes a seitan 'turkey' or 'ham' and probably everything else that yours does.
Tell your friend to go here and have a look around. Lots and lots of ideas for a great Christmas dinner!

I had some vegan friends in Uni, and they actually ate a pretty healthy, rounded diet. It took a lot of effort and expense though. And for the record, they were all in the healthy weight range.

I like how she's against the commercialism of Christmas yet Lourdes has had two personal stylists since she was five years old, wears only designer clothes and Madonna once said that Lourdes wears thousands of dollars worth of jewelry to school every day (where the other kids don't like her because, according to Madonna, they are just jealous.)

^^ Exactly. These kids not getting Christmas presents means absolutely fucking nothing. Its like if Oprah would say she doesn't eat chocolate on Valentine's Day. Just some publicity for the old dried up slag.
Madonna is nothing but a self-centered fantastic bitch and I love her to death. And I'm sure those kids are jealous.

It's good you didn't say that, it would have been rude, plus you don't know why some people are fat. There are different reasons.
There are so many vegan recipes online, it's not just veg

I was a vegan when I was 13 (until 15). It is a pain in the ass to live on that diet, but you can do it. You should be mature and responsible, though. And not eat Fries with Ketchup for two years. Lol.

"What intrigues me is that Guy puts her down in public," says a transatlantic friend.
"He kind of treats her badly in front of people,"
Guy does a lot of the hobbies he does as a sort of anger management.
"He insists that she respects him as the man of the house, and they have some very fiery times."
Well this def makes me believe the rumors about these two.
