Oh yeah, I know. It just doesn't seem fair. She's lived a life of luxury, only because he has provided that for her for all those years. Now that they are getting divorced he has to continue to pay. I disagree with you on this one Sweetie. She married him when he was a nobody. She gave him 7 kids and stayed at home caring for his life while he traveled the world filming. That was her job in their partnership. She in entitled to half of what they built together while they were together. It is different from someone who marries someone who is already wealthy and then wants to take half. They were not a partner in building the wealth.
See? partnership is the key word here. I'm more likely to feel more empathy towards Mel's wife because he was a lying, cheating dirtbag out fucking every piece of ass he could find. And clearly going home and shtupping the little woman as well. I don't feel all that sorry for Linda Hogan though.
