Megan Fox allegedly quit Transformers 3 after a blazing row with director Michael Bay over her weight.
According to The Sun, Fox's dramatic weight loss raised alarm bells with Bay as the 45-year old felt that Megan looked 'unhealthy' and wanted her to gain weight if she wanted to reprise her role asMikaela Banes in the third instalment.
A source told the newspaper: "Megan stormed out after a huge row with Michael Bay. He thinks she has lost too much weight and looks too frail. He wanted her to put on some weight and it all kicked off."
They added: "The crew don't think she looks well, let alone the wholesome, curvy star they cast in the first film. She's going for this gaunt, pale image and it just looks unhealthy."

Believe it or not, these two have had this argument before. They had a disagreement over her weight when filming ROTF and Megan had to put weight on then. He said that he likes his girls to look healthy and felt MF looked unhealthy at whatever weight she was initially. I think she was a great weight for ROTF so, if she was thinner than that, I can see how he would ask her to put on a little weight.
She also made mention of the fact that she did a lot of tanning for ROTF because she wanted to look very healthy for Michael but she refused to do that for T3 because she didn't want to put her skin at risk. While I am skeptical that these disagreements led to her quitting/being fired, I do question whether she took a stand on what she was willing to do for the part this go round and tanning/gaining weight were ruled out by her personally.
Tanning shouldnt be a big deal, she can easily just get a fake tan without going to a solarium or sitting in the sun for hours.
IMO after she attacked M Bay awhile ago, she was never coming back to the T3.

Regardless, I agree, someone with her lack of experience and talent was never for long on this project after repeatedly going after the director. I was actually surprised Bay and Co. even pretended she had a chance of returning.
Considering she's getting paid a lot of money to appear in movies, and is an 'actress' then surely she would be fine with getting a fake tan for a movie role.
Look at Renee Z, who kept changing her weight and diet to appear in Bridget Jones Diary. (and, playing with our weight that much wouldn't be too healthy)
^^Perhaps it wasn't her who had the problem with the appearance of the spray tans, I don't know.
I wouldn't have thought such an actress would be as mouthy as she has been in the past considering all that she lacks but there she was, spouting off at the mouth as if she could actually deliver a line. Therefore, while I still believe she was fired, I won't completely rule out the fact that she is so stupid that she felt she was above having to meet the standards set by Bay.
Yeah, she probably thought she was too good for Bay and co.
Her downfall is her attitude, she needs to realise the successful and respectful actresses/actors do not bad mouth their employers.
