^^ Not really. You hear all the time that celebs have 'certain lists' of questions that the people interviewing them are allowed to ask or that they'll go over before they sit down with them. Like on those late-night talk shows.

The Vein just gave an exclusive interview to the NY Times. I only remember because it was the interview that Jennifer objected to (the one where she said she fell in love with Brad on the set of the movie.)

Not all stars use their children and charity work to create their public image. Johnny Depp and Matt Damon are much bigger box office draws than she is, and I couldn't pick their children out of a lineup. Brangelina's kids, on the other hand, are some of the most recognizable people in the world. In part, because of a concious effort by Brad and Angelina to sell their images to the rags and tell stories about their children in their interviews.

Some people worship this woman as if she were a modern day Mother Teresa. This article exposes her as just another narcissistic, homewrecking celebrity using her children and charity work to cover up the stench of her past behavior.

Right, she did indeed give an interview to the NYT.

Neither of the articles employ a malicious tone, but "expose" is the right word. I don't care what people say, this is almost unheard of. If you step back and look at what has happened here you will realize that the "minivan majority" will not appreciate learning of Angie's manipulative use of her children in this way. (and yes, the article makes clear she does this) Major press outlets DO NOT out specific actors and the PR ploys they use to polish and enhance their images. This was done for a reason.
