I agree with not smoking in front of kids. But know plenty of people who step out in their garages for a hit after dinner and seem to be able to hold it together. I'd probably be doing it myself if it weren't for that pesky job I have along with weed being illegal.

Oh yeah, and I hate smoke in my lungs.

But I do get a nice little wine or tequila buzz about twice a month on a weekend night, more often than not while here at home <gasp> with my child present! Call CPS!

Nearly everyone I know drinks around their kids - if they want to go to a Sunday afternoon BBQ and have a beer should they leave their kids at home, even if there are plenty of other adults not drinking including their spouse? It's not like they're the sole responsible person and they choose to get wasted and let the kids run amok.

When a friend of mine's son was small his teacher was telling them that smoking cigarettes was bad and Jack piped up "my daddy smokes from a bottle".

I'm with Lax. Would LOVE to see my uptight strict Mormon mom high, just once (when they put me in foster care they made sure it was MORMON foster care).

Then she'd know it's not really like Reefer Madness.

uh, i don't know about you but i've never seen anyone get violent because they smoked weed. alcohol, sure, and other drugs. but weed? nope.

It doesn't matter if he smoked weed in front of his kids. If his daughter smelled weed on him so often that she recognized the smell, there is an issue.
