Apparently lacing the water with marshmallows is a good way to attract gators but you might have trouble getting them there before Mama June had hoovered all the floating marshmallows into her gaping maw.

My other half has been to the US quite a bit on business and he always struggles not only with the portion sizes but the way that a request for very simple food is met with a lack of comprehension. For example, the last time he was over there he went down for breakfast and requested a plain omelette. Then started the questions - would he like cheese on that? No, just plain, thanks. What about peppers and mushrooms? No thanks, just a plain omelette, no cheese, no peppers, no mushrooms, just plain. We can do it with breakfast sausage, spicy sausage, ham, (the list goes on and on for another minute or so). NO! Just a plain omelette made out of just eggs with nothing else added to it please! So they took his order and his breakfast came out and not only was the omelette large enough to have fed two people it was also swimming in butter. The American diet plays merry hell with his diabetes if he's not super vigilant.
Here in the States an omelet is comprised of eggs and other ingredients, such as vegetables, cheese and meats. He wanted plain old "scrambled eggs". Omelets generally have at least 3 eggs in them; plain scrambled 2.

not necessarily. scrambled eggs are cooked differently than omelets. omelets can have other ingredients, or be plain.

omelette=beaten eggs cooked in whole piece (sometimes folded)
scrambled eggs= beaten eggs scrambled into pieces as they're cooking.

Well I see no sense in having an omlette unless it has cheese or other ingredients in it. Otherwise I'll just have scrambled.

On the stove. If I make a fritatta I'll do it first on the stove then in the oven.

Gah....caught this promo for tomorrow's Inside Edition. Honey Boo Boo's making a music video, y'all! You can see June dancing in the background.

These people aren't gonna go away quietly, are they?

Babies and toddlers drinking bottles filled with juice. A cup of juice has over 100 calories. A few bottles a day, add food and snacks to the mix and that's a problem.
    .

I am surprised how many people think juice is heatlhy. No, it isn't! I always tell the kids if you are going to have juice you might as well have a coke, that said, kids are allowed one fizzy drink or juice a week. If they are going to have sugar, I prefer they eat it rather then drink it.
