Ex-chef says half hour. I rarely weigh in on anything here but this time, well here goes. Not that I'm saying it's a true statment but: are her kids in school, afterschool activities, music lessons, playdates with friends, growing up, with dad, doing homework or what ever else kids do these days. Don't mock me too much, but she is a single parent, (okay, yes but with a lot of help) and has a business to run. She's not the only person her earnings support. I would guess many people are on the payroll. Please try to avoid making a crass or snide comment about that last point! How many other parents are the same and what proof is there that her children are hurt or neglected. Maybe one half hour everyday is great, a lot can get said in thirty minutes. Please forgive my spelling mistakes, grammatical errors and poor sentence structure, I know I'm not a writer! I'm already regretting posting this!

I think the point is that she is adopting two kids (if she can) to give them a better life but she is single and they will have a mother for half an hour a day (personally I think they go for weeks without seeing her.) But anyway, it's little better than the nursery they came from. Just a more luxurious one with one-to-one time with carers. It doesn't justify adoption IMO. The older kids are more settled because at least Guy was around.

How many 50 year old pop stars are there that dance around on stage the way she does? How many pop stars are there who have continually been at or near the top of the charts as long as Madge has? It's not as if there is a huge number of stars to compare with. She's an old woman, it's not as if her body is going to snap back if she takes an extended break.
A previous poster said working moms can spend all this quality time with their kids while dealing with hectic commutes, job stress etc they can spend more than 1/2 an hour. My mother was a working mom and had zero job stress however with her coming home from work, after school activities, TV time, homework etc. we were lucky to get a half hour in there.
Of course the ex-chef who probably got canned for using meat instead of tofu is the expert on how much time Madonna spends with her children. So Madonna needs to give up all activities/pilates to take care of her children. She can afford the best nannies and schooling for those children and it appears she does what she can to make sure that those kids stay disciplined and grounded.

I am surprised to see any support on here for Madonna. It's obvious she is buying babies to make her look young and has no intention of personally getting involved.

Hahahahaha....please. I was a working mother until a year and a half ago and you can spend A LOT of time with your kids if you put their needs and wants before your own. Sorry your mother didn't choose to do that but you're projecting your own thing on to Vadge.
Vadge WENT TO THE GYM HOURS AFTER HER ADOPTED BABY ARRIVED FROM AFRICA..A CHILD WHO DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH AND WAS THROWN INTO AN ALIEN ENVIRONMENT. THIS IS NOT A CARING OR MATERNAL WOMAN. THIS IS A WOMAN WHO PUTS HERSELF FIRST.
Any success with those kids will be due to their carers, not Vadge.

Right. At least your mom was in the house after work where you could go and ask a question or at least have her presense. My kids didn't like it when I went out at night (to PTA, dinner with friends, whatever) but when I was there they barely spoke to me. They said they just liked it knowing I was there.

It's not that my mom didn't choose to do so- it's just that I don't whitewash the truth. I don't pretend for one second that life is like a Betty Crocker commercial. People come home from work and they need time to compress. Plus kids don't necessarily want to hang out with their parents every day.
As for Madonna going to the gym hours after bringing the kid home- so what. Kids need time to get adjusted to their surroundings. I'm not even in support of Madonna adopting children but I hate it when people act phony and pretentious in judging other people's lives. She can afford a nanny and she has to keep up her appearance in order to continue the career that allows her to pay all those people. I don't think Madonna is any worse a parent than the average 2 income family who is lucky to spend 1/2 an hour with their kids. Of course everyone on this site, between posting shit about Madonna and others, has time to bake cookies with their kids gathered round in the kitchen and spends every night singing songs around a fireplace.

Look Soogar, let's not pretend that IT is your average working mom. She isn't. She has many more choices than the average mother. What does she choose? To continue being a bitter old bitch rather than growing up and being a real mom.
She chooses a third world boy toy who probably doesn't even speak english and lets this stranger hang out with her kids.
She chooses to spend days at photo shoots thrusting her muscly crotch at the world AGAIN, rather than be with her kids.
She chooses to condemn the kids' father on stage, for millions to hear, rather than thinking how that might effect her kids. Very mature!
Vadge chooses Vadge, every single time. She has options other women can only dream of, but she always chooses herself.

From the New York Post:
The petulant pop star took an apparent swipe at her estranged husband in front of thousands of fans at her sold-out concert in Boston on Wednesday.
The onstage rage aimed at her soon- to-be ex-hubby came right as the singer began the opening chorus of "Miles Away" - an intimate pop song believed to be inspired by her rocky relationship with Ritchie.
"This song is for the emotionally retarded," Madonna told the crowd at TD Banknorth Garden in Boston.
"Maybe you know some people who fall into that category. God knows I do."

its so fucking tragic that she'll put her vanity above her kids. she'll live to regret this when they desert her, like her looks have.
and why are any of you replying to soogar?! they do this all the time...
