It would make a huge difference. That yellowy platinum just washes her out.

I liked her hair when it was a darker honey blonde color, like in the Ray of Light video.

Yes to the suggestions about the hair -- that shade is too brassy.

That was her best color, and her hair never looked healthier.

That said, I think the big "full on" picture of her face scared me. She looks much better in these. I bet that dress was a much nicer color in person, too.

One thing I have to say - her fear of going in the sun was a smart move - the skin on her chest looks flawless - even for someone 15 years younger.

She almost seems warm and motherly in some of these pics. She looks SO much better. And I agree that the dress colour looked better in person. I love the cut of it and the way it drapes -- very flattering and elegant.

See, I never bought the Madonna as bad mother - I think she really cares about her kids and has done a good job so far keeping them fairly out of the spotlight. I think she rebelled a lot in her 20's and fame got to her head, but I do believe that family is now important to her.

Well, she IS Italian and family is important. She has been close to her own family although she's had a few skirmishes with her brother Christopher. She is a complicated person and yes, kudos to her for keeping her kids somewhat under the radar.

You know, it took me a while, but I finally figured out who she looks like a bit to me now - remember Michael Learned, the mother on The Waltons? She looked pretty much like this in the 80's, when she was making all those Lifetime movies.

First thing I noticed about Madonna was her pit stain. Nice. Good cheek implants, though. Looks like thankfully she gained 5-10 pounds so they wouldn't be poking out under her skin.

I like Salma's and Alicia Keys' dresses the best I think. Dita looks nice too except she looks like a very intricately wrapped present.

Someone bring her a faaaaaaan! LOL.

Lourdes is going to be pretty I think. One day she'll tame that brow. She has gorgeous hair.

That's not a stain on Gwyneth's dress -- it's a spot of dust on the camera's sensor. I hate that effing bow, though.

My, but Madonna's face is looking tight, smooth, and plump! But, pretty dang good for her age. She must be using Sharon Osborne's plastic surgeon. Although her upper lip looks a little too funky to me in that close up.

At the risk of being spanked, Lourdes IS old enough now to be told how to groom herself properly. I'm not talking about spa sessions, I'm talking about waxing a few unsightly hairs. I had a girlfriend who had a moustache at a very young age, and her mother knew to nip it in the bud pretty quickly. I don't think thats really vain, I think thats taking care of something that will cause teasing, and your child will thank you for it later. Lourdes' eyebrows do need to be waxed, badly, and she's hardly such a child anymore. How old is she, anyway?

You know, Madonna could have saved herself a fortune if she'd just put on a bit of weight. She looks so gaunt because she's so toned and looks as though she has no body fat at all. She'd look younger and less harsh with more fat in her face. But I guess she can afford to do it this way and keep the uber-toned body. Shame though.
