Did Madonna just refer to her tepid egotistical warblings as 'art? And to her carefully analysed, technologically-enhanced, electronically-assisted, look-at-my-crotch-so-you-don't-notice-I'm-not-much-of-a-singer shenanigans as 'an artistic process?

I'm impressed. I never realised she had a sense of humour.

But she didn't compare it to rape. She said "artistic rape" so can someone explain why people seem to think she compared it to actual rape and actual terrorism?

Yeah but it's not rape. She might have been artistically fucked over, but she wasn't raped. It's a loaded term and she knows that.

    Still desperately seeking attention.

'I'm sorry if words alarm people, but that's what it felt like': Madonna stands by music leak comparisons of 'terrorism' and 'rape'

    PUBLISHED: 01:54, 22 December 2014 | UPDATED: 09:49, 22 December 2014

Madonna has defended her references to 'terrorism' and 'rape' in connection with her recent music leak by saying that she is 'living in a state of terror.'
Instead of apologising for the comparisons, the 56-year-old singer has qualified it by saying that the release of 13 unfinished demos felt like 'theft'.
The star is said to have become excessively 'paranoid' after discovering that her computer and phones could have been hacked for 'more than a decade.'

Defending herself: Madonna has justified her references to 'rape' and 'terrorism' in connection with the leak of 13 of her unfinished tracks

Speaking to The Guardian on Sunday, Madonna explained: 'Obviously there is a person, or a group of people behind this that were essentially terrorising me. I don't want to sound alarming, but certainly that's how I felt.

'It's one thing if someone comes into your house and steals a painting off your wall: that's also a violation, but, your work, as an artist, that's devastating.
'I'm an artistic person, I'm very expressive. I'm sorry if words alarm people, but that's what it felt like. It was not a consensual agreement. I did not say 'hey, here's my music, and it's finished.' It was theft.'

Unfinished: Madonna has reportedly become paranoid that a member of her team is working against her, calling the incident thieving

The diva tried to bounce back from the hack by dropping six tracks as an 'early Christmas gift' this week - ahead of the scheduled March 10 release.
She surprised her fans with a post-midnight release on Saturday of new songs for those who pre-order Rebel Heart on iTunes.
In a statement, she said: 'Please consider these six songs as an early Christmas gift.'

Bold: The singer deleted an outraged Instagram post in which she called the hacking a 'form of terrorism'

'I would prefer my fans to hear completed versions of some of the songs instead of the incomplete tracks that are circulating.'
She deleted the outraged Instagram post in which she called the hacking a 'form of terrorism'.
According to the Daily Mirror, the singer was concerned that a member of her team had joined forces with the thief in a bid to cause damage to her brand.
The hacker has been accessing personal photos and unreleased music and selling them illegally and the singer is said to have Skyped a trader for 30 minutes in a bid to uncover the truth.

Not happy: Madonna is reportedly 'paranoid' after discovering her computer and phones have been hacked for 'more than a decade'

A source told the Daily Mirror: 'She has been suspecting everyone, which has left her distraught and paranoid, 24/7.'
Madonna, 56, has spoken about the leaks via Instagram, saying: 'I am asking my true fans and supporters who respect me as an artist and a human to not get involved with the purchasing, trading or posting of unreleased images or music.
'I hope and pray we can find the source of the leaks soon. Until then, I am grateful for any leads or info and even more grateful for your support and loyalty.'
She posted a snap of herself in underwear along with the words: 'This is a fitting photo I did not release.'

According to The Sun, the singer name-checks a list of powerful celebrity names in her latest single, Illuminati, with Beyonce, Jay Z, The Queen and Lady Gaga all getting a mention.
MailOnline has contacted a spokesperson for Madonna for further information.
Meanwhile, it was a horrific week with the deadly hostage crisis in Sydney and the devastating Taliban school massacre in Pakistan.
So it seemed particularly insensitive when Madonna likened the leak of her upcoming album to a 'form of terrorism.'
Angered fans took to Twitter to lash out at the Material Girl who also referred to the theft of her 'unfinished demos' as 'artistic rape.'

Livid: After her new album leaked online, Madonna lashed out calling the incident 'artistic rape'

'How appropriate do you think it is to refer to the theft of your music as 'terrorism' days after 132 children are massacred!?,' wrote @Merr1ngton.
A fan who goes by @TrannaWintour added: 'Madonna has called the theft of her demos a form of 'rape' and 'terrorism.' Her hysteria and ignorance know no bounds.'
@DustinAndrew chimed in saying: 'Ooook I have a prblm w/ @Madonna claiming the leaks are a form of 'TERRORISM' Really? There are ppl dying. Get a clue.'
The criticism comes on the heels of the Queen of Pop's overly dramatic comparisons on social media after an early version of her 13th studio album surfaced on the Internet on Wednesday.

Lashing out: Many fans found the singer's comparisons inappropriate

Say what: It seemed particularly insensitive when Madonna likened the leak of her upcoming album to a 'form of terrorism'

Going too far: Angered fans took to Twitter to lash out at the Material Girl who also referred to the theft of her 'unfinished demos' as 'artistic rape'

'This is artistic rape!!,' Madonna cried out in an Instagram post that has since been taken down.
'These are early leaked demo's half of which wont even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved.
'This is a form of terrorism. Wtf!!!! Why do people want to destroy artistic process??? Why steal? Why not give me the opportunity to finish and give you my very best?'

Desperately Seeking Culprits: The 56-year-old was none too pleased and denounced the theft of her 'unfinished demos'

Earlier in the day, Madonna took a gentler approach by reaching out to her legions of fans in a more appreciative manner in the aftermath of the album leak.
''Thank you for not listening! Thank you for your loyalty!,' the Vogue hitmaker said.
'Thank you for waiting and if you have heard please know they are unfinished demos stolen long ago and not ready to be presented to the world.'
A total of 11 songs surfaced, including tracks Bitch I'm Madonna, Joan Of Arc, Illuminati and Messiah.
While Madonna had yet to announce an official title and release date, the album is allegedly called Unapologetic Bitch - which is one of her favourite hashtags - or Iconic.
The Hung Up singer has been working with a treasure trove of the hottest producers and songwriters including Diplo, Avicii, Natalia Kills and Simon Cowell's favourite hitmaker Ryan Tedder.
The full album leak comes just weeks after the two tracks Rebel Heart and Wash All Over Me hit the Internet.
At that time Madge's manager Guy Oseary took to Twitter in an attempt to find the culprits by writing: 'I would be grateful to any @madonna fans that can assist us in finding those responsible for the leak.. We appreciate your help..'

Who did it: Her manager Guy Oseary took to Twitter to try and find who leaked two tracks last month

What's in a name: While the Material Girl had yet to release an official title and release date, the album is allegedly called Unapologetic Bitch - which is one of her favourite hashtags - or Iconic

On Tuesday, the Taliban attacked a school in the Pakistani city of Peshawar killing over 132 children and nine staff members.
It was the country's deadliest terror attack ever.
This horrific incident followed just two days after a lone gunmen held patrons of a local Sydney cafe hostage for nearly 16 hours, leading to a standoff with police.
In the end, two hostages and the suspect were killed after authorities stormed the restaurant.

Express Yourself: In support of the upcoming album, Madonna is said to be plotting another world tour in 2015

But it HAS got her and the album a lot of publicity and for Madonna any publicity is good. I had no idea that she had another album due out until this happened. Still not going to bother with it though.

Wearing a number of gold rings embellished with gems, Madonna accessorised the piece of lingerie with a floral gold waistbelt. Keeping her face out of the frame, the picture, which is part of the promo trail for her new album, Rebel Heart, currently has over 63,000 likes and was captioned: 'Diamonds are an #unapologeticb***hes best friend #rebelheart'.

The description read: 'Today I'm a Cosmo Girl Living for Love #rebelheart'.
'Love thy haters as thyself! #rebelheart verse 313..........#livingforlove', were the words placed alongside an image of Madonna's perfectly manicured nails.
